Who are the best tennis players on each surface?

Who are the best when it comes to specific playing surfaces? Considering first thier current & future status, then thier performance the last year or so and finally thier careers before that I came up with these lists.

Clay Court:

1) Nadal
2) Federer
3) Coria
4) Puerta
5) Ferrer

Other dangerous players: Ferrer, Gaudio, Davydenko, Robredo, Nalbandian, Agassi, Ferrero, Gasquet.

Grass Court:
1) Federer
2) Roddick
3) Hewitt
4) Grosjean

Others: Ancic, Nalbandian, Henman, T. Johansson, Stepanek, Dent, F. Lopez, Karlovic.
There don't seem to be too many genuine grass-courters around. Random people seem to be doing well each year at Wimby and its tune-ups. I expect Gasquet & Murray to do well next year.

Hard Court:
1) R. Federer
2) A. Agassi
3) L. Hewitt
4) A. Roddick
5) M. Safin
6) R. Nadal

Others: Lubjicic, Ginepri, Blake, Naldandian.
Of course there are plenty of other guys that can be devastating but these I think are the guys to beat. Provided they remain healthy I expect them to be the top 10 by the coming April.
What do you guys think are the best at each surface?

Aw man how could you rate Hewitt and Roddick higher on a hard court than Safin. Whatever the rankings say, Safin is the number 2 talent in the locker room right now. He plays his best stuff on hard courts and ace rebound.

And I think I could think of a few more guys better than Nadal on a hard court than just those 5.

Something interesting on your list (which I agree with) - Nalbandian is a notable on all 3 surfaces. Tru dat.

Well Roddick did beat Safin on hard courts the last two times they played. Besides Marat is too inconsistent. Especially after the Australian he's been very sloppy overtime. Though he seems to be packing a little something extra for the Slams. Roddick and Hewitt have a knack of getting to the semis and finals thus I gave them a higher rating. Also they are'nt known to lose 2 & 4 to 2nd tier players.
Who do you think's better than Nadal on hardcourts? I think he will be a major factor at the Oz Open.
Nalby can I think beat any top player when he's on. I don't know why he's been so inconsistent. Injuries? Think he could mature into someone like Hewitt. A solid top 5 player. He certainly has more potential than Roddick IMO.

Rusedski and Bjorkman are both top grass courters. If he gets his fitness under control I'd put Dent in the hard and grass categories as well.

Srichaphan is a good hard and grass player as well.

Was Moya mentioned on clay?

All courts: Federer
Very original.
Yet startling true.
Of course hes not the BEST on clay. Safin can challenge him on hard. He is untouchable on grass...poor Roddick playing second fiddle when he could have 2 wimbys by now.

I would say he is good on all surfaces and when he is playing his best he can beat anyone on any surface including Federer. If you dont believe me then i will give you proof.

Safin is pretty good on all surfaces, but I take issue with you claiming that you can provide proof that he can beat Fed on all of them. The only really acceptable proof is that he has done it already, which he hasn't on grass, clay or fast hardcourt :)
