Acutally, I remember that thread very well. You said something to me that normally would have provoked a train wreck, but taking it in Phil-context, I deciphered your sense of humor and like Drak, took it well and as it was intended; a Phil compliment!
It was at that time you gave me a little credit for being only slightly above average in the intelligence quotia department.
I have, forever since, kept that tidbit framed in the Rabbit warren.

Thank you for posting this, it clarifies the memory that I had. I first read the old HTML style board around late 2002 I think, but I don't think I joined up until it switched to the phpBB since it was easier to deal with on dial up.

But speak for yourself, Norcal...the "Meg on the Stairmaster" and "Caught a glimpse of my neighbor's XXX on the swing" threads were spit-inducing classics!

Sorry I just saw this thread, I was out for three weeks due to surgery,
anyway,
Can't remember if i joined in 99 or 98 but things were better back then IMO, there were few of us, less BS and very knowledgeable people that in the end left.
Not sure when TW lost its data HD but after that things went downhill. I stopped posting for a year or so then came back again. If you have Feb 2004 on your joined date you are from the old board in a way.
Unfortunately LH and I went our separate ways. The political situation between our home countries added to the misunderstanding. All I can say is hope LH is happy where he is right now.

And you're more than smart enough to know the difference between the two, so don't let your ego blind you in that regard. Besides, you always have the option of "returning fire" in a number of different ways. Yes, you could take the confrontational approach, but (BETTER YET) you could play along and beat me at my own game by "returning fire" with, for example: "watch out Dedans!...Toucan play that game" or something along those lines and believe me Megnificent, I'd be the first to bow and hollar "touche' Meg!..atta baby!"
