Who will be Federer's biggest challenge in WTF?

Zverev, Cilic and Delpo, if he qualifies somehow. Besides Novak, Delpo is Federer's toughest opponent on an indoor hard court, they faced each other eight times and split the victories. Delpo's back-to-back wins in the finals of Basel 2012 and 2013 and two RR victories at WTF were impressive, having in mind that Roger holds the number of titles record in each tournament and is an incredible indoor player.

I don't think that Nadal can beat an in-form Federer under these conditions (if Rog is not exhausted), especially after what happened this year.
They will end in Nadal's half i bet...lmao

WTF is still a better surface for Rafa than Shanghai is, so even if he won't record a win against Fed (of which I'm about 90% sure going on current form), it'd still be a lot closer than the score at the Shanghai final--which I suppose wasn't all that close despite the scoreline.

It is, yes. Given the relative weakness of the field another Fedal final wouldn't surprise me to end the year. I also think Nadal has to be a little tired from an accumulation of matches both over the year, and now lately (but then again it is the end of the year so nobody is too fresh). That said, he usually does well at the WTF in years where he's done well on HC overall, and seemingly he only loses to Federer these days. The problem for him is that I don't see who will beat Federer, and I'm comfortably confident that Federer will beat Nadal if they play. I can definitely count on one hand the number of times I've said that.

As I said earlier, all respect to Nadal, but he's not at the top of my "worry" list, and tbh he's not even 2nd. I'd put him 3rd if Delpo doesn't make and 4th if he does (a longshot I know).
