Some sweet netplay from Florian to take the break, those aren't just any easy putaways Jarkko is hitting back.

And a hold..

Third set, Jarkko FTW!

Jarkko did really well to get out of trouble there, with that fab FH to the corner.

Flo looks really strong on serve though in this set, Nemo not returning well.

He might miss break points but u can`t fault Federer there.Ljubicic saved the first with an ace and the second with a smash.

except for the game in which he got broken, fed never had any trouble on his service games

One thing I have noticed about Federer is that he no longer has that extra zing on the forehand. Particularly on the inside outs and shots he would normally put away. Guys are running forehands down that they would never get to in the past. He is shanking ALOT less. Maybe he is taking something off the forehand because of the shanks.

i know what u mean i dont think he uses enough wrist action on the forehand anymore to get that whip of pace.

That 2-1 point is exactly what I was talking about. Very conservative FH on a short ball lte Lubicic stay in a point.

I think this is an intentional tweek by Fed that has stopped the really bad upsets earlier in the year but he is not going to take down the likes of Nadal, Djoker or Murray without that weapon.
