Why can't players take a MTO on the court? Why go to the locker room?

If Gulibs got a massage on his back and some stretching, why can't he do that on the court?

The whole locker room aspect of the MTO is suspicious... what are they doing back there that they don't want anyone to see?

Hint: it involves a special inhaler and/or pills.

Conspiracy theories apart, I expect it is because they would need to take their shorts off. The spectators might enjoy that but I don't think tennis wants an X rating!

Yous sound paranoid like Federer

When they have to remove your shorts to effectively treat the problem area, it's not appropriate for live and TV audiences.

If the injury is in the groin/backside area, I think it's pretty appropriate to assess it in the locker room and not on national TV.
