So I play in a weekly block at an indoor tennis facility. There is a buzzer that goes off every hour so there's no question of when one person's court time ends and another begins.
Every week when I show up to my court, I walk on court to see a 60 year old guy in his jeans with no shirt on casually getting dressed on the bench of my court. Then he is there for at least 10 minutes into the start of my block so while we are out hitting warmup shots, he's still dressing himself on the bench. I imagine he starts changing up to 5 minutes before the end of his block and it takes him 15 minutes to complete the process. This facility is a sports complex that certainly has a locker room.
What is the etiquette on using the court as a locker room? I've never said anything because I don't like having to tell people to change their behaviors because they are annoying, but it annoys me because 1) I don't like watching some guy changing his clothes while I'm trying to play tennis, and 2) having to avoid hitting him with the ball because he's on the side of the court not paying attention to us hitting tennis balls.
If you were me, what would you say to him (if anything at all)?
