Why do Pro Tennis players require coaches?

The media is constantly showing the players looking to their coaches during a game. You don't see Pro golfers, bowlers, or pool players doing that during their games. Why do Pro Tennis players need them? Do they forget how to hold the racquet? What the surface of a court looks like? What a tennis ball looks like? How many serves they get? How to lace their shoes? When a player turns pro, and starts playing for money, aren't they pretty much admitting they know whats up?
I watched the womens matches where the coach came down to talk to his/her player. Aren't these women Pros? They are playing for money. Shouldn't they already be figuring out what to do if they're having trouble? If they need someone telling them what to do, maybe they should rethink their pro status.
Coaches fill a need when someone's starting out and don't know what they're doing, but when someone turns pro they really should be past the not knowing stage.

Not sure they are looking at their coaches primarily, looking at the players box that consists of partner, family, freinds and coach. Really their support team. Nothing the coach can do during match but can obseve pattern/problems and make suggestions, changes for next time.
Seriously though every elite professional (at the top) sports person has coaches, nutritionist, physios etc.
It takes a team to be elite and stay ontop these days.
