Why is Federer so damn good on grass?

Didn't we already solve this question? He's good only because he gets special treatments at Wimbledon such as always getting special seedings and always getting Center Court. :p:p:p:p

Nonsense. Fed has always hit with a lot of topspin. Always, even in his junior days. He hits hard and with topspin, disguise and placement.
pretty sure that was just a poem i made up 4 years ago. but actually, there's truth to it. fed's points are short, he may rally around with topspin looking for an opportunity, but he'll hit flat (with a touch of spin) and hard whenever he can to be aggressive. the grass doesn't reward spin qualities as much, but grass does reward hard flat hitting quite a bit. which is how fed wins many of his points, and thus why fed is good on grass.
