I’ve watched pros in practice plenty of times.

Coaches like Lendl, Lube and Mauresmo are not demonstrating technique and shots, instead they are tacticians and part of the entourage.

This is not 4.0 GOAT lessons being told how to do a kick serve.

No offence to you in particular, but I’m amazed how naive so many people are about this stuff..

Murray not be a “Yes” type to me as a coach! Lendl is not either! I guess it could work! Lendl making a comeback to ATP Tour! He could get into most of the ATP Tour main draw as a WC since he won the tournaments not once but several times, GS too! Maybe he could not win Wimbledon or was it the U.S. Open But still give him a WC for being finalist for numerous times! Murray is his manager, coach! LOL!

I saw Lendl in a seniors event in 2016 and I promise you, he couldn't move to save his life.

And Ivan has gained at least another 15 pounds since then, so he sure ain't moving when coaching Zverev, unless it's moving towards the buffet table.

As others have said, I'm probably wrong here, but Lendl strikes me as the kind of beer-bellied middle aged dude who can still give you a run for your money. Even if he's out of shape, he's not physically impaired.
