Will Roddick win another slam?

If he is healthy totally than I think yes. Still got some gas left in the tank.

Yes, but does he have the talent? Not so sure. He has been in the top 10 though for "forever" and it seems like he has a good personality which is good for endorsement contracts. He probably figures he will ride the wave and get the $$$$ as long as he can. Not a bad place to be.

I think this week cements the fact that Roddick's slam hopes are slim to none. Losing to 3 to Nadal is no shame, but going down in straights to 2 guys he owned certainly is not good. 2011 may be Rod's last year as a major contender.

I think you might be optimistic there. I'm rather surprised he rode his serve this far and this long. Most of his comtemporaries (Safin, Hewitt, Ferrero, etc.) are either retired or one foot out the door. His dedication to be one of the top guys and his serve has done that. His movement is average and his groundstrokes are getting worse compared to the others with big serves.

Is he willing to go for broke on his forehand? He needs to work hard this off season and a change in tactics to hopefully get on a run in AO. After seeing him at this WTF it looks like it's over for him. But if he can put together a good two weeks and avoid Nadal & Federer he could possibly pull off a miracle. People here were mentioning how Nadal can't handle Roddick's serve. I think he's made improvements on his return of serve in the last 12 months. Nadal can handle big servers better than before. It's the go for broke players that still give him trouble. Roddick doesn't do that. What he did in Miami was in some sorts a fluke. He hasn't done that in years and none of it since.

Yeah I agree. Although people seem to think he didnt put the effort in against Berdych and Djokovic he still lost in straight sets.
