Tennis sort of needs a big final which it has missed since Us open 2019 as Us open 2020 final was awful whereas Rg final was huge as Rafa reached 20 but it was big because of that and not because of Tennis on display as it was one sided, so will we have a huge blockbuster after a long time and which matchup will guarantee that??

No as all the best players on current form are in the bottom half. Nadal has yet another brutal draw but the best matches will be Nadal v tsitsipas and Medvedev v either of them

I think Djokovic is judged based on his first 4 rounds but this is his den and he is undefeated this year as well also djokovic pre qf and post qf is a different beast most occasions in slams especially at Ao

I think we get a worthy final if it's competitive no matter who the opponents are. Doesn't need to be Djokovic vs Nadal or have either involved in any capacity.

Whichever two players reach the finale, odds are 90-1 that it will be a far better finale than the women's...

We've had two 5-set finales last year and both were fairly unpredictable. Out of THREE slams.

So why the complaining?

During the 90s I believe there was a very long streak of 3-0 finales. In this era we have far less WTA-like blowouts.

In fact, I think a more worthy final would be without the same old winners, provided they are eliminated and not walkovers due to injuries. I'm one who REALLY wants to see new players get to the top.
