Hi guys,
I am going to demo this racket soon out of curiosity. I currently play with the same version of the racket in 98 sq in.(see signature). whoever has played with the 93, can you please jump in and contribute? How does it feel? maneuverability, arm friendly, etc compared to the blade 98? The DW is 333 which is slightly above the 98 which hs 330 but lot of reviewers have said it swings lighter due to its weight distribution. I am a good 4.5 player.
Thank you.

Great flat hitting racquet, just a bit too little margin for error for me. Feels sweet though when you crunch the ball. I never felt it was sluggish at all.

98 has more easy power but is harder to swing and more club like. 93 is way way more maneuverable, faster thru the air, smaller sweet spot, good power. You'd have to have pretty good technique and be able to generate much of your own power with the 93. I prefer the 93 but I'd suggest you demo it. I think you'd find way more people who dislike the 93 than the 98. It's more of an old school player's frame.

Hit with the blade 93 this morning. I don't remember hitting so many balls into the net with any other racket than this. Maybe it is the demo racket that comes with a not so great string(wilson sensation @55 lbs) that was causing it which is way different setup than my cyclone. I was not getting much depth at all even if I put the ball over the net. I am sticking with the blade 98 which gives me so much free power and room for error.

When you hit balls into the net consistently, it's not really the racket's fault. Every racket on this planet has the ability to hit the ball over the net.

The 98 is more head heavy and sometimes feels more sluggish. The 93 is more suited for the fast, whippy swing.
