Wilson Blx Blade Tour vs. Blx 6.1 95

Alright so I have the blx blade tour rackets and love them. I didnt like the 6.1 tour, but the blades witht he 93 headsize were nice and I liked the weight. Then I played today with the blx 6.1 95, 18 by 20 and it was mind blowing. I didnt realize how heavy it was. I read the racket and tennis warehouse and wilsons description of the racket specs however and they are all different. The racket says 12 points head light, and online I think it says like 6 and 8. Same for the blade tours. Why are all the sites specs different from each other and the racket. Regardless I was surprised how heavy and headlight the regular 6.1 is for not being a tour model. Anyone have any comments between the blade tour and the 6.1 18 by 20 95 inch headsize rackets?

It is less HL and more light on the specs on the racket because those are the unstrung specs. Strings will make the racket weight another .5 oz (15-16 gram) and usually about 2 more points HH, but will vary form racket to racket. I would say that the BLX Blade Tour felt more dead and has a smaller sweetspot but it feels surprisingly maneuverable at the net.

That's odd then. Of coarse were different players but I found my serve with the blade tours to be excellent. I got plenty of spin for kicks and could flatten the ball and hit any corner. I was just more than happy with my serve. Then I demoed a 6.1 95 today like I said I could not serve for anything. About 50 percent first serves in the net or 1 foot long. Also I had no pace, and very little spin. Maybe I wasn't playing very well but I was getting upset. Has the blx 6.1 95 become a more tour like frame over the yeas because I had the ncode 6.1 95s and I don't remember them being that heavy. Anyway if I can get over the serve aspect, try some different strings, I might switch to the 6.1

Poly mains might help with the serve. I played the blx 6.1 95 16x18 and liked it but have sense moved on to a customized Volkl O10 295.

With the 6.1, poly mains gave me more control and spin.
