Hey guys! New to this forum, but not to the World of tennis.

It’s now time for me to change my Blade 98 which is getting old and I want to to back to the Pro Staff series...

Anyhow, I found this racquet on kijiji and I wanted your opinion because it Doesn’t look genuine:

To my knowledge, Wilson never sold any of the blackout prototypes? The pro staff 97 came with flame red decals and the new all black one (countervail) also has shiny black/grey decals AND they both have black leather grips. The Orange grip is from older models... Looks fake, right?

Thanks in advance!

That's a Chinese fake. They are all over AliExpress and a guy sells them on the Bay as well. I wouldn't waste your text and money.

That one says 11.3oz, feds is 12.6 isnt it?

"It's a Black paint job prototype like the ones used by Roger Federer."

"Like" makes him immune from fraud

1/ The latest PS97CV and the brand new soon to be released PS97 (non CV) both have black SYNTHETIC GRIPS. (Only the RF97 has a leather grip now.)

2/ The real all Black coloured PS97 models have a "Tuxedo" paintjob. The PWS is a glossy black while the rest of the hoop has the matte rubber paint.

3/ The Bumper Guards on the real PS97 models are smooth. They do not have the Wilson name embossed into them.

4/ The Butt-Caps on the real PS97 models are red with a white "W" logo.

4/ The Insert information cards in the PS97CV are black cards with white and silver printing NOT white cards.
