Hello,
I m just returning to play tennis after 4Months of PT,Exercises and training to recover from a shoulder Impingment syndrom that caused me bursitis and labrum tear grade 1.
my usual racket is a yonex ezone 98 wirh 23/2kg polytour rev.

My set up now: wilson shift 99L 22/22 isospeed cream/Velocity.
It s lighter and lower swing weight.
BUT: i need to make more efforts to gain depth in my strokes and i need to swing fast to reach that.
Unfortunately due to the injury i am not yet able to swing so fast to produce depth. Fast and sudden movements hurt my shoulder more that a slow and long swing.

I played 2 hours with the shift and i became frustating to reach depth in my actual condition.
And rje Wilson shift L cannot handle heavy hitter strokes. I wasnt able to counterpunch with a reasonable depth. I needed to use my shoulder abd my rumpcore more to redirect the ball with enough power and depth.

The first impressions is that i need to generate more power as with my 305gr ezone 98

What i need is easy power without stressing my shoulder too much

Does it make sense to add a bit weight in the middle to reach more plow and easy power?
Or should i just reduce the strings tension to 21kg.
I dont want to change strings completely. Isospeed and Velocity are armfriendly.

The other alternative would be to use the ezone 98L and hope that it can give me more power without having to swing too fast.

Thanks
