Wimbledon: Mens Final vs Womens Final

Which final do you think was better and why?

For me, I really liked seeing serve and volley so I liked the womens match *granted* I don't like either Mauresmo or Henin-Hardenne . A lot of good touch, placement and just steady and interesting tennis.

The mens final for me was exciting (due to rivalry) but I was really dissapointed to see so much baseline tennis, the points not going quick/fast and the fact that a clay-court specialist done exceptionally well on grass.

My vote goes to the womens match because of the style played.

i too loved the serve and volleying in the women's final, but the men's just had so much more energy and tension. it was much more a joy to watch, to me, even if there was much less s&v.

Men had a lot more riding on it. Though you could argue Henin's chance at the career Golden Slam being more, Federer winning his 4th wimbledon in a row against a man he's lost 5 times in a row (4 being in finals [Dubai, Monte, Rome, FO 06 Championship]) was way more intense.

we cannot say women dont play...i think there is more emotion ina emale match than a male match, although there are some amazing shots in male matches
