Wobbling cortex

I just got my hands on the aerodrive cortex for the first time.

Is it me or does the ball wobble when you hit with the cortex system? I have a friend who uses the same racquet, another who uses pure drive, and my partner used a head metallix. I could tell the difference in wobblyness between the three of us and significantly no wobble in the head metallix.

Tell me im not the only one experiencing this feel of cheapness.

if you ask me it's kind of hard to compare the two technologies. The cortex is made to dampen unwanted shock whilst still allowing through 'feedback shock', while the metallix is meant to give the racquet greater torsional stability (i think so anyway).

I use the pure drive and i think i know where you are coming from. I believe the cheap feeling comes from the hollow 'tinny' feeling you get from puredrives and APD's, not so much the cortex. In other words, the racquet does not give a solid response when you hit the ball compared to other competing racquets.

And the fact that the ball wobbles?

When I got finished with playing with the newer babolats, I went back to other racquet play. But what upset me the most was when I began seeing mirages of wobbling when they weren't really there. Babolats totally screwed my vision.
The good news tho, after a day and back on the court, I could see the ball normally again.
