I think it looks pretty nice. Reminds me of a John Deere tractor.

Think more along the lines of "old caucasian woman trying to retain her youth with a bronze spray on tan" sort of color.

I held one, and saw several yesterday, and am still baffled by their FUGLINESS, but I was chuckling inside cuz I just kept thinking about this thread.

What a coincidence. You're right Newberry. A guy down at the park thought I was swinging around an old caucasian woman. I had to explain to him that it was a tennis racquet.

I don't care about it trying to look wooden, the Maxply is the worst. It prevents me from giving it an honest look.

Now, to say the late 80s 200G is ugly is wrong -- that was a sweet racquet. It had a little Green Lantern appeal -- which was great for those of us watching the Justice League but hated the WonderTwins. Why did they get so much air time?????

I dont particularly like those Power Angle racquets. It's not that they look hideous, its just that they look so incredibly bland. I know cosmetics aren't of any importance but a little bit of effort would have been nice.
