What qualifies a niche sport to you, anything less than the NBA? That would be a very restrictive list: football (both kinds), baseball - that’s a list of four sports. Less than a billion?

Tennis likely exceeds a billion when you add the revenues together.

I don’t have a hard rule but $150M is extremely low. Most mainstream movies are expected to make more than that.

Doesn’t impact my enjoyment of the sport, just surprising.

Something tells me there’s something unusual behind the big money, and I wouldn’t take this as a proof that the product is better or that the management has magic touch. However, if they are willingly parting with that money and it benefits tennis players, then heck yeah, let’s welcome it. It’s like when I mishit a shot and it turns out to be a winner - I’ll take it.

As for the coattails conclusions, go ahead and separate the joint tournaments and joint money. Then I’ll believe it.
