Yonex RDiS 100 MP vs Head Youtek Prestige Pro PLEASE HELP!

So I have been playing with the Head Youtek Prestige Pro, and my friend let me try his Yonex RDiS 100 MP (Nalbandian Racquet). Now I cannot decide for my life which is better. The I like the fact that I get great feel from the Head and the ground strokes are amazing, but I like the Yonex better at the net for some reason. I am going nuts and cannot decide any reccomendations? I am a 5.0+ player and played Div 1 ball in college. Any advice on these two racquets would be helpful.

How often do you go to the net? If Net play isn't a huge part of your game, I would recommend you stick with the prestige!

With your resume I would think you would be able to make that decision on your own and plus most of the people here are definitely less experienced than you are.

If you like going to the net so much and think that it'll benefit you by using it..then go ahead and buy the RDiS haha. I just bought the RDiS 100 MP as well and i can't wait to go hit with it!

ive had both... both are pretty similar but I would say the yonex is a little more forgiving than the prestige. the yonex also has more feel. seeing how youre a 5.0 player i would probably go with the prestige. i found it a great all around racket

Rommil, you are absolutely right that I should be able to make a choice on my own. The issue is that I have never found a racquet that could match the Prestige till now. I college I was always playing singles a lot more, but now in Atlanta doubles is far more prevalent than singles, thus my confusion. Right now I am leaning towards my Prestiges, but still would love to hear the opinions of other people and everyone hear as well.

OP, just buy one and try it, I am not going to say anything, but you'll buy another 3.
RDis 100 is in another level, much better the Prestige won't match the performance of the RDiS 100 at all.

Div 1 ball? Tennis ball or basketball? But seriously, Yonex racquets look funny; stick with the Prestige Pro.

Have a similar playing background as well as use both racquets. Took out the Prestige MP yesterday for a hit against a 5.0+ player and the level of control, comfort and power (on demand) was unmatched. I qualify this statement by saying I've tried just every "player" stick currently on the market.

Gotta say though my first go around with the Prestige (YTPMP) wasn't great (strung too low) and ended up selling them. Had a couple in the closet and the strings were dialed in "just right". I actually used the Prestige mids for many years but wanted to play competitive again so started thinking I needed an extra edge (wrong thinking). The only other frame I think is close with a bit more power is Doko's new Speedpro.

RDiS 100MP VS Prestige Pro

I could not possibly comment on the Prestige Pro, even though I'm convinced that it must be a top player's frame.
However, I can talk about the RDiS 100MP, which I discovered almost by accident. I was on the hunt for a new stick and tested pretty much every Yonex frame in the RD range with the RDiS 100MP last on my pick list (reputedly too stiff, didn't like the PJ, not crazy about the pros using them).

I had a revelation when I tested it, though. after a few hours of play, I knew thsi was the stick for me. Very stable on groundstrokes, manoeuverable enough to get you out of sticky situation when your opponent starts pushing and shoving you, excellent with overheads and volleys, not bad on serves.

What I *love* about this stick is the unique blend of raw power, stability, precision and feel. I can think of another brand that brandishes "feel" as its main marketing ploy, but falls far off the mark in that department.

For a stiff frame, the feel is not dull, blunt or muted, but, how can I describe it, "alive". It sends so much information.

If you like playing at the net and overcome youth and power with treachery, I woudl recommend that frame.

As buckethead said, they go for less than $100 these days, well worth the try. If you don't like it and you're a size 4 1/2 i'll even have yours!
