too thick, and a lot rougher than many think:(. Gave me a really bad blister on my palm, and the tack only lasts about 3-4 hours max. Switched to tourna:)

I believe supergrap is pretty rough, and you should only use it if your hands have tough skin ie. callouses. Tournagrip is actually better for people with softer hands since it becomes nice and lush when saturated and tacky. The thing about supergrap is that even if you don't get blisters from it, it loses it's tack in 3-4 hours which is really the only good thing it has imo.

As for tournagrip shredding, it has never happened to me, and I play a lot, 3-4 hour sessions saturday and sunday, 2 hour sessions on 2 random days of monday-friday. Just make sure you don't wrap tourna too tight or it will rip more easily, and make sure it gets saturated during play, or you will be stuck with a literally an old piece of newspaper for a grip.

I like supergrap because it's very comfortable, it just feels right, it doesn't give me blisters, it retains it's tack longer than all the other overgrips I've tried (wilson pro, gamma supreme, tournagrip), and you can continue playing with it even when it's a bit worn down without it totally failing on you. Of course, to other people with different hands as mine, the texture of their skin, the variations in the hand surface, the locations their hand produces sweat and the amount, the size of their hand, the way their hand moves, their grip, their replacement grip, their subjective experience of how the grip feels, their preferences for how they like their grip, they may have the exact opposite opinion of supergrap than I do.

I tried the Supergrap and did not like it at all (too thick I think...). WIlson Pro feels the best for me (and tourna of course..)

to me gamma supreme is better than wilson pro and supergrap.
wilson pro worns out very quickly and supergrap is too thick. the supreme has a very nice feel and the tackiness last longer than the other two.

I really like Super Grap. I used to use the darker blue grip, but I found that it seems to lose its tackiness after using it for about 10-15 hours or about 7 sessions. It doesn't shred on me or anything, but I tend to change my overgrip after I feel the racquet slipping or twisting a lot in my hand.

I find that the white or sky blue grips that I now use have much longer tackiness, but of course, they get visibly dirty more quickly.

When I first started using Super Grap, in the summer time I find that the new grip is actually too tacky and may leave my palm a bit tender/slight blistering if I hold the racquet too tightly, but this doesn't seem to happen anymore.

I have only tried Super Grap, Gamma Supreme and some other random Prince overgrip that I will not use again. So for me, Super Grap all the way!

I love Supergrap. Like the other poster, I normally regrip every 2 matches but I would do that regardless of the grip. I have only used the white color. The tack is great for my sweaty hands.

Well, after using SuperGrap for about 10 sets it's finally started to feel pretty gross. Longest lasting overgrip out of everything I've tried, though! Maybe I'll be REALLY cheap and turn it over and see how it plays then? Could I get 20 sets on it total?

I have found the same thing. I have tried the red and dark blue and they don't last at all the light blue and white last me a long time.

Yea yonex super grap will never give you blisters, i think you just need to change the grip size on your racket. Super Grap is soft and tacky and it's worth trying out. I almost always have it on my racket, and i love it :)

I'm a fan of Supergrap as well as Wilson Pro which are almost exactly the same. Tourna actually gives me more irritation on my hand as it is so smooth and has no tackiness. I'd rather use bare leather. I will conceed that my hands never sweat enough to get a grip wet so that is likely why I like the tackier grips better.

Sg has great tackiness, durablity, and probably its greatest asset, longetivity. Honestly, 1 would last me a few months whereas a tourna or wilson at best last me a month or less. Imo Yonex supergrab > Wilson pro because of greater tackiness, feel, and longitivity. Great for dry hands. Ppl with sweaty hands should look into tourna.

I see a lot of folks say Tournagrip is better for wet hands. For me, the opposite is true. The tackiness of SG helps me hold on to the racket better when the grip gets a little bit wet. SG also seems to absorb more sweat than Tournagrip. In the end, it is all personal preference.
