You are Monfils

Let's get creative with a little scenario.

You are Monfils.
It's your biggest ever game and you reach match point. You hit a great approach and come to net, you get an easy pop up to your backhand side. It's high and you have time.
What do you do next?
Remember, you are Monfils.

High Backhand smash into the ground, bouncing it into the crowd. Sorry, that's Paddy Rafter.
Acute angle, short. Nope. That is RF or anyone sane.

Spin move to the left, 270 degrees in the air, take it as a forehand and hit it inside-out to the opponent's ad court side T ad 115 mph. Allez! Subdued handshake and a beeg smile for the crowd.

Between the legs backhand smash. Yes, if you are Monfils, this is possible.

And I think this thread deserves to be in general pro discussion. Would get more replies.

You pretend to go for the smash but at the last millisecond do a disguised drop shot which fails to dribble over the net. You go on to lose the match, reminding everyone that you are indeed Monfils.

I (Monfils) actually play it as safe as I can, try to move into position for the kill, stumble over my feet (the ball bouncing off my head) as I fall into the net and break my right arm.

I think he would do a reverse flip with a half twist to extend his right arm high on the landing and execute a feather of a Sewretch drop volley just over the net with so much backspin the ball comes back to his clown shoes on his own side of the net on its second bounce.

i would yell as loud as i can 'ta mere est une grande vache' throw the racket to the ground in the way so that it bounces back up straight and the ball hits the stringbed and bounces back over for the winner. then hop over net to shake hands

While you are Gael Monfils, you've also learned your lesson and as such you resist the urge to let your 'creative juices' take over and instead you hammer an overhead winner:

" B O O M !! "

"game, set and match, Monfils, 0-6; 7-6; 0-6; 7-6; 6-0"
