Welcome to the great game!!!
I've coached high school kids and a couple of racquets they really like, which are also more affordable, are the Head LM 8 and the Prince Diablo XP. A couple of others that are also reasonable are the Volkl Tour 6 and the Head LM 4, oh and the Dunlop 300g, too.
Since you're putting your basic skills together, your hardware won't affect your game too much yet, but your strings will significantly affect how your racquet feels. If it seems too hard or harsh, consider stringing at looser tension, but if it's too rubbery or spongey, you can try tighter tension. Synthetic gut or multifiber string in the inexpensive range will service you fine.
