Hi ! These 3 strings seems pretty close. I know the Revolve/Ripsin but not the other 2 !
Does anybody tested the 3 and could compare them ?
(Power/control/spin/Tension maintenancesensations etc.)
Thx ;)

I would say

1. Hawk comfortable medium pop
Average tension maintenance
2. Lyon- similar to hawk
3. Revolve super comfortable too much pop
Poor tension maintenance

Thanx.
For the revovle I played with Black, White and Orange one and I only had problems with the black one for the tension mainenance. The Orange is pretty good and the white, if I remember well, was fine too. With which one you had problems with the tension maintenance ?
If you know a 4th string close to these 3 (if possible with a good tension maintenance), tell me, it could be helpful ! ;)

I've been told that the Kirschbaum PLX and Head Lynx could be great close alternative too. Would you agree ?

I used the white one

Try pro line ii
I really don't like any head strings except hawk. Lynx felt super boardy

Ok I'll see for the Pro line 2
But I'm suprised for the Lynx. I have it (yellow) now and it"s really soft.
Softer than Revolve. Very good spin (snapback). So not boardy at all.

not sure what set up you had (racket string tension etc etc) but revolve holds tension better then any other poly out there and that is confirmed by TW playtesters. Its also not too powerful . in fact its pretty low powered and very control orentineted compared to most poly out there. you sure you not confusing revolve with luxilon alu ?

IMO Revolve is a great string with loads of spin and control and great pocketing. for 10$ its the best poly you can buy . now for 17$ alu power offers more pop and feel and control and I think RPM blast is also better except in the tension maintenance dept. but revolve and RPM are remarkable simililar . blast is just more crisp and revolve has a more pocketing soft feel but still about the same control .

I find myself stringing RPM blast main and revolve cross after doing full revolve for awhile. I like the added feel and small boost in power and control that RPM blast brings.

At the time I had a package from Wilson. I was using the 6.1 95 18x20 50lbs. So demoed every string they had at the time

Just didn't like it as much and no I didn't have it confused with lux alu, Again my play style is different from yours so you'll have to just ty it yourself

I think at 17 dollars you may as well get as half set of gut for 20+. 17 is a bit steep for poly. At around 10/12 dollars I'd go for hyper g.

Maybe it's as for some other strings. Black are more harsh and have bad tension maintenance, White are better etc...?
Same for Lynx, black one is bad, yellow is good/great.
