Do you believe in reincarnation? I don't but.......

Listening to Wertheim at the FO he was talking about Fed's birthday in a segment.
August 1981. Pretty much 9 months to the day after John Lennon's murder (Dec 1980).
Could Fed be John Lennon reincarnated?

Like Lennon he's got a wonky nose
Like with Lennon there was a destructive Spaniard named Toni in his life (Lennon
bought drugs from Spanish Tony, dealer to Keith Richards and Brian Jones)
Like Lennon was, he is beholden to a woman his senior who seems to be
running the show
Like Lennon he had to watch a 3rd wheel pass him by fairly far into his career (Nole
for Roger, George Harrison for Lennon)
Like Lennon he was inspired to take some time off by one of his children
Like Lennon he was physically attacked in public (the 2009 FO) but with far more
of a fortunate result, thank God!
Like Lennon with May Pang he was besieged by a smoking hot little honey with Asian
bloodlines in her deep into his career (Alize Lim)
Unlike Lennon he didn't follow through on that which was borderline insane of him
but since Lennon exhibited a lack of sanity here and there I'll throw this in
Like Lennon he's an ATG who changed the game
And so on and so on......

Serena was born within a week or 2 of Roger so maybe Serena is John Lennon?

Two more different personalities probably never existed. John was brilliantly funny, acerbic, opinionated, edgy and rampantly promiscuous. Fed is the opposite of all those things.

It's really just about finding new ways to hammer Roger for not taking
advantage of Alize Lim's love for him. This one was a huge stretch I admit.

Serena's birth date does fit better with the timeline but, neither she nor Roger are particularly musical (have either of them composed any songs or played a musical instrument?) so it seems unlikely somehow.

Fed as a human being off the tennis court seems quite dull, below average intelligence (has openly admitted he never reads books, for instance), and just sort of an average person. His tennis is what is brilliant, very little else. But that's the case with 99% of tennis players. Lol typical elitist Lennon fanboy putting down McCartney. Just following on Lennon's footsteps of course, but they should be aware that Lennon's words were born only out of jelousy, due to his fear of being inferior to McCartney. It's basically what ended the band as well.

In this sense a certain part of Federer's fandom are similar to a group of Lennon's fans. But that's the only similarity between Lennon and Federer.

I could say a lot about how badly Lennon compares to McCartney, but I'm a fan of his as well, so I think I'll leave it at that.

Such very "John" music aside, he can be such an a-hole and a lot of things but deep down still very much a kind heart and gentle, vunerable soul. Even Linda had to say "Everyone loves John" - of course, by everyone she meant who got to really know him.
