Unbelievable frame. Super comfortable and has tons of power and spin potential. Also, extraordinarily stable for such a flexy racquet. Mine is around 60 RA if I remember correctly.
I’ve always been amazed Wilson has never released. Much better than the blades. No comparison really.
And yes, mahut uses one, or at least he did last year when I strung for him.
Hello @asifallasleepCan you compare it to the RF97 for me? I just got a 16X19 H22.
Thanks Geoff. Are you using the RF97 or the H22 as your main stick now? I have zero complaints about the RF97 and was just curious about the H22.Hello @asifallasleep
If I can interject its very very similar. The 16x19 H22 is super arm friendly. I found it to have easy power without balls flying off the string bed. I played with 16x19 H22s before the RF97 was released. I found the transition to be seamless. You won't be disappointed!
Hello @asifallasleep, The RF97 has been my main racquet of choice since its release. I'm teaching mostly with the CLASH but when I play competitively, the RF97. If it's good enough for Roger it's good enough for me!Thanks Geoff. Are you using the RF97 or the H22 as your main stick now? I have zero complaints about the RF97 and was just curious about the H22.

Only the inability to find replacement grommets for the frameTake what I am saying with a grain of salt as I am not a fan of the pt57 (and I have tried a bunch of different variants) but I didn't find any downsides with the H22. Great feel and power.
Hi guys! I have been using PT57A's for about a year now. Love everything about them except for on serve. I just can't get any pop. I have read that the H22 is very solid for serving but still has great feel. Is there anything that I would lose by using an H22? Would like some feedback, especially from anyone who has used both frames.
Only the inability to find replacement grommets for the frame
Good to know. If the Ultra Tour is basically a H19, I hope to say it's not impossible for Wilson to release the H22. From what I've read, many say the Blade 2015 is most similar to the H22? Still, I do not think Blades flex like a H22. And for me, flex is the whole reason I would buy a pro stock racket. For serves I prefer the h22... good luck with the grommets.
How easy for wilson to launch the h22 for retail world calling it blade jaja and offer then the grommets too...
Welcome to the club. I know which ones you bought. Most likely your grommets are already split as well. I had to repair mine with tubing. Would love to find some grommets is anyone has some. I added weight to mine and am now at 331gram wirh overgrip and 6 points headlight. Do you know the swingweight of yours, do you have acces to an RDC machine?Joined the H22 club today.
I got the 18 x 20 in a Burn CV PJ.
With strings, the racket weights 320 grams.
Do most people play with it as is, or should I consider adding some weight?
I think 345 grams would be ideal. Where do folks recommend adding weight to the H22?

Just strung mine with Poly Tour Pro at 20/19 kgs, would those be good tensions for the h22 or is it too powerfull?

Thx! Played it today and I did like it. But if you, as a low Tension Player, already advise to go up I might try that next time . Will have to see what string I put in there next.Personally, I prefer higher tensions (~23.5 kg) to control the power of my H22s. Low tension with a relatively soft poly such as PTP will feel great, but I’m worried about the control aspect. Probably depends on what you’re used to, your stroke technique and your ability to hit the sweet spot every time.
Did you play yours already?Yes, I got mine from a popular seller on stringforum. The grommets appear intact - how can I tell if they're split? I have to restring mine since it came with a broken string. I don't have access to RDC machine.
Thanks for the tips about adding some weight to the handle.
Did you play yours already?
I am really not overwhelmed by this frame yet. I find it very difficult to even play it further. Cant seem to find my strokes with this racket. Strung all 3 different. Max power 21/20, Alu power 22/21, poly tour pro 20/19.
Liking the poly tour pro the most. But seriously not liking this racket at all so far :|.
Got to do some drills with this racquet today. Very solid, especially with all that lead in the frame. I was cracking 2hbhs. Harder to get racquethead speed on the FH or serve. Need to remove some lead.
You are already selling it?Got to do some drills with this racquet today. Very solid, especially with all that lead in the frame. I was cracking 2hbhs. Harder to get racquethead speed on the FH or serve. Need to remove some lead.
It’s not because I don’t like it. I can certainly remove all of the extra lead and get it to a manageable swingweight. I’m seeing if someone values a player used, autographed racquet before I treat it like a run of the mill H22. I’m actually buying another H22, unmodified. You are already selling it?
I guess i will be selling mine too. Cant groove with it. Swingweight is just too much for me
Getting mine back tomorrow from the stringer - went with ALU power at 52 pounds and a new grip since mine came pretty worn. I'm really looking forward to hitting with it. The thing is I'm used to a 16 x 19 pattern and this is 18 x 20. Also, I think mine came uncustomized and only weighed 320 grams strung, so I'll take a crack at it when I get it and see how it plays. If it's not to my liking I may sell it on the used forum. I have an RF97 and 2015 Blade and really like the RF so this was more a curiosity to see how the Pro Stock is like...will report back after I hit with it.
In my opinion, playing with a uncustomised H22 is a suboptimal experience. It needs some customisation – because that's what it was made for – to unlock the real strength of this frame. Just avoid creating a swingweight that goes beyond what you can handle. Since the hoop is already solid and the frame most likely has a relatively head-heavy (or rather less head-light) balance, I would mainly add weight to or inside the handle.
I did beef it up to my spec, but somehow I find the H22 nothing special. Strung it a couple of times to test, but i just dont like it. Will check my swingweight because that might be too high. Nothing I can do about that though, since there is no lead on the frameIn my opinion, playing with a uncustomised H22 is a suboptimal experience. I would go for the PT57A. That racket had something special to me.Looking at getting either a h22, a h19 or pt57a, all of which go for similar price depending on the PJ. I've built a collection of six one 95s in a handful of pro staff paintjobs, as well as steams in blade PJS but looking for something to diversify my prostock collection. For all you in the club what is your personal experience with it that makes it so desirable?
yes - have tourna black zone 7 in itAnyone try full poly?
Played the h22(16x19) with Dyreex Alu tour, with Prince XT18, prospro Eruption... Plays great and comfortable with all.Anyone try full poly?

Thanks - that makes a lot of sense. The hoop does feel really solid and the frame is more head heavy than the RF. So I will try and add some weight to really unlock the power of this frame.
My Blade 2015 is customized and weighs approximately 345 grams strung, whereas the RF97 weighs closer to 350-360 grams strung. I don't want something as heavy as the RF so was thinking total weight of 340 grams.
Does 5 grams total at 3/9 o'clock and 15 grams at the handle (tungsten putty) sound like a good distribution?
I tried using my H22s this past week for the first time for a doubles practice. For some reason during warmup, it felt like the balls were flat(not trajectory but flat dead balls). I examined the balls. They weren't new and maybe a little used but not totally flat like that felt against the stringbed(strung with RS Lyon). Is this what it's supposed to feel like to use a flexible frame?
