I want Federer to retire so that the draws will open up and the younger generation players will then inevitably have to step up and fill the void. It will be fascinating to see which players will emerge once he is gone. I want Djokovic and Novak to continue to play for 5 or 6 more years.

If I'm gonna see the same quality game with others, it's okay. But doesnt likely to happen soon.

Anyone who choose Zverev vs Kyrgios or Shapo vs **** in 1/2 Finals or Final over Fed/Nadal/Djoker is delusional.

I'm not sure if I should be stupid or serious in this thread. I'll try to be serious.

Djokovic, Fed, and Rafa are that good. You can wish whatever you want but it doesn't work that way. You have to def. them on the court.

Sure, some of you want to see something different but don't forget one thing ... The Big 3 are still there. So, good luck with that. I mean, if you are good enough you can beat them. The problem is, it's not happening.

You must travel back to 1961 and do all of the following:

1. Infiltrate the ITF rules commitee.
2. Make them preemptively ban all non-wood racquets and all non-gut strings.
3. Stop Tio Toni from being born.

It's mad for many of us older fans say in our 30s/40s who've been following tennis since the 90s. Federer has been relevant in tennis for 18 years, when he beat Sampras at Wimbledon that was when he caught my eye, Nadal was around the top 50 in 2003 and Djokovic broke into the top 100 in 2005. 14 years, only Agassi and Connors in my knowledge had maintained a relevancy in tennis for so long.

I don't want it to end because I dread what comes after.

Certainly true for Federer. Not sure about other two.

Nadal is easily the 2nd most popular player behind Federer. His leaving will have a big impact. Not sure about Djokovic myself. He might get more attention if he truly threatens the slam record, but to now he has not been that popular. I had friends here in Canada for the big event in Montreal in 2011 when Djokovic was the dominant #1 and they didnt care about the event and wanted their tickets refunded since Federer/Nadal werent there and that British guy (Murray of course, but they were even more interested in him than Djokovic)

@Sabratha Listen man, it’s sad that it’s come to this but I have to block you. I’ve never done it with anyone before but your recent posts have reached an unhealthy level of fixation on me. You’ve always followed me around spouting the same nonsense but recently your posts have reached a point that seems... “unhinged.” I thought you might have had a reality check after I called you out for making up lies about me claiming ND was greater than Fed and then you ADMITTED that you were just attributing fake things to me for god knows what reason... I thought that might be a moment for you to step back and realize how offkilter you’d become. But today confirms that’s not the case.

Best for both of us if I stop interacting with you I think. Good luck
XD

What I want is the next star to emerge and start taking out the Big 3. Just like Fed did against Sampras and Agassi and Roddick. A rising phenom with the skills of Federer, the court coverage of Djokovic and the intensity of Nadal. Sadly I don't see that guy out there right now. Every Next Gen player is fatally flawed at this point.

No, it's pretty much why I started following as closely as a I have of late. I want to get it all in while we still can. There is literally nothing compelling on the accent behind them.

The way the young bash with spin and hope you can will the counterpuncher with precision into errors, play we can expect the Fed-Dj to stay for a while. Nadal does seem to whine about his knees then goes and wins on clay the next day. As a guy wil knee issues, a day isnt enough and clay isnt gel, so I call BS, but he will be the first to go i think .
