Kyrgios is dead right here. This is truly selfish from Zverev. The whole idea of self-isolation is to make sure you wait out the outer limit of the infection window. Even if you have tested negative the test may have been taken too early to return a positive result, hence why most managed isolation practices do a test on day 3 or 4 to increase the accuracy of a test since separating yourself from the public.

It is a joke that the ATP hasn't sent out communications to all players explaining clearly the whys/hows of isolation and testing. They would be doing themselves a favour by reducing the chance of more negative PR associated with top player (and therefore the tour itself).

I have come full circle with this guy. Liked him a lot when he broke through. Then, couldn't understand why he wouldn't just commit and try to actualise his potential. Now, I am like, hey, at least he's reasonably normal, not a total selfish sociopath. To those who will point to donations running in millions, when you are rolling in money, those kind of donations are easy to make. Harder still is to set a good example.

Kyrgios is right but i can't overlook the fact he is posting this from his car whilst driving. You couldn't wait till you are not on a road to post that? Seriously? Also Kyrgios lecturing anyone else on being selfish is a joke. Please stop giving this guy any praise, he's pointing out what anyone with a brain already knows but he's hardly the one to talk.

Doesn't matter if its hands-free. How many times did he glance at it whilst driving? Hands-free is for calling people so you can talk whilst keeping your eyes on the road and thats before you realise he needed to access twitter, make the post and post it. As far as i'm aware, that would need some input from your hands unless twitter lets you post from voice alone. However it's all completely pointless, he could EASILY have waited till he got home to post and comment on it but didn't.

Oh, I'm no advocate for talking on the phone while driving.

Kyrgios simply saw his chance to get more likes, views and respect from people by saying common sense things in these demanding times.

a guy driving while filming himself with his cellphone, blaming another one self-isolating on the dancefloor... you couldn't make that up! :-D

this #iNEXTistentGen is something... even when no tennis is played, they manage to suck big time :rolleyes:
