I guess the RG organizers are really dying for Tsitsipas to be in another final, not sure if he'll be able to get over the line no matter how tired his opponent will be though...

Rafa's draw:

R2: Stan
R3: Fog
R4: FAA
QF: Djokovic
SF: Alcaraz
F: Tsitsipas

And Djokovic gets:

R1: Nishioka
R2: Molcan
R3: Brooksby

foh

I mean Wawrinka doesn't really qualify as part of a hard draw with his current form but yeah, Nadal's draw as a whole is brutal.

It will surprise nobody if Nadal wins all his matches in straight sets, that's how unbeatable Nadal is at Roland Garros :alien:

Why? Djokodal likely to happen, their winner vs Alcaraz, who might win it all and I think the Frenchies want it.
Headliners all playing on the same day. One less match of Djokovic/Nadal then you would normally get. Throw Nadal in Meddy's quarter and the tournament likely makes more money. The best thing from a business perspective is Nadal getting to the final. They made that as unlikely as possible.

Oh yeah Djokovic comes out of this draw a real winner
Nadal’s is definitely overall tougher but my god, Djokovic is the pusher defensive baseliners from hell.

Nishioka
Molcan (Vajda-coached no less)
Brooksby
Schwartzman

are all legitimately created in a lab to be the biggest nuisances from the baseline ever. They’ll lose but will force super long, lung busting rallies. When he gets through that, he’s rewarded with Nadal, lol. And whoever wins that one gets a fresh Alcaraz…

Never a draw sucked so much.
It’s shock and appall all the way.

Who will take a set from Nadal? Wawrinka? Fognini? Not reliable enough, and Felix has nothing to hurt Nadal with, and Nadal beat Djokovic 60 62 75 with the roof closed at 2020 RG..... and Alcaraz is too error-prone to win at RG, so who will take a set? Djokovic is really the only guy likely to take a set, but could also be blown off the court like 2020 :alien:

I think Djokovic has tougher initial rounds than Rafa. That could help Rafa especially if Novak faces Schwartzman in R4.

This draw seems clearly bad from a business perspective tbh
Yeah, I don't get why draws like this always make certain people think they are rigged. All your blockbuster players are playing on the same day throughout the fortnight? No possibility for a Nadal-Djokovic or even Nadal/Djokovic-Alcaraz final? If the organizers rigged the draw this way, they're dumb as a box of rocks.

Djoko, Nadal, Alcaraz, Zverev, Korda, ADF, even washed up fellas like Stan and Thiem on the comeback trail, practically every notable player of the clay season but Tsitsipas is one half :-D
and Botic and Grigor and Diego.
