Try checking ''bellroy.com''.

I love their Travel Wallet when traveling and Slim Sleeve for normal day to day use.

off-topic, as for the LVs and GUCCIs, lots of fakes and the genuine ones are not worth (not referring to quality) it.

I saw an ad for one of those stainless steel mesh wallets recently; the ad noted that "this is a vegan wallet" and added that it's made from at least 85% post-consumer recycled steel.

I have a tommy hilfiger wallet I paid 25$ for and have had it for years. It shows no signs of slowing. I can't imagine dropping hundreds on a wallet.

I can't urge you enough not to spend too much $$$ on a wallet. Here's why.

Over the last month, I became a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get supplies has turned out to be quite traumatic. Don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you or your friends.

Here's how the scam works:

Two nice-looking, college-aged girls will come over to your car or truck as you are packing your purchases into your vehicle. They both start wiping your windshield with a rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts (It's impossible not to look). When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say 'No' but instead ask for a ride to McDonald's. You agree and they climb into the vehicle. On the way, they start undressing. Then one of them starts crawling all over you, while the other one steals your wallet.

I had my wallet stolen April 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th, 24th, & 29th. Also May 1st & 4th, twice on the 8th, 16th, 23rd, 24th & and very likely again this upcoming weekend.

So tell your friends to be careful. What a horrible way to take advantage of us older men. Warn your friends to be vigilant. Wal-Mart has wallets on sale for $2.99 each. I found even cheaper ones for $.99 at the 99 cent store and bought them out in three of their stores.

Also, you never get to eat at McDonald's. I've already lost 11 pounds just running back and forth from Lowe's, to Home Depot, to Costco, Etc.

Please, send this on to all the older men that you know and warn them to be on the lookout for this scam. (The best times are just before lunch and around 4:30 in the afternoon.)

Just make one out of duct tape. They even have NFL team duct tape now.

I bought a VanHuesen wallet that fell apart quick. Had a columbia wallet that did the same thing. Won a wallet playing bingo when I was stationed in Qatar that is still holding up, but its just too big.

Duct tape wallet never failed me. Actually I think Im gonna make another one. Just black though.

Actually I lied. They have MLB Duct tape as well. In a few weeks time I will the proud owner of a baltimore orioles duct tape wallet.

I find that wallets are rather impractical. I saw many people dropped their cards out of their wallet. I have to pick the cards from the floor and give the cards to the owners who just dropped the cards from their wallets.

I keep my bank cards and travelling card in silicone luggage tags and tie them on my lanyard together with my keys, so I will never drop the cards because they are securely held by the luggage tags which are securely looped on my lanyard.

My wallet was made by Coach. Had it for 6 years. Still looks like when it was new. Paid about $100. It's also the color of my favorite baseball team and has their logo on it.

If you want to have a leather wallet that will last literally forever (like pass it on to your son), get a cordovan wallet. Pricey but you'll enjoy it every day.
