To lose against someone like that, it's very disappointing, because you feel like he was mentally out of it already. Just gets the lucky shot at the end, and off you go.Djokovic "had a bit of luck" against Federer at Wimbledon 2019
Federer in 2014 was a 32 years old dinosaur?Djokovic: I had “a bit of luck”
Dude that's half of your career at Wimbledon lol. Opponents choking & vacuum of actual competition outside of a dinosaur Roger.
He was almost 33. Compared to a 27 years old Djokovic, yes, this is old. He was at a big disadvantage.Federer in 2014 was a 32 years old dinosaur?

How bad is Rafa then to lose to Dinosaur? He was almost 33. Compared to a 27 years old Djokovic, yes, this is old. He was at a big disadvantage.
So let's compare it with 2020 AO final. He was almost 33. Compared to a 27 years old Djokovic, yes, this is old. He was at a big disadvantage.
What about AO and Wimbledon and RG in '21So let's compare it with 2020 AO final.
26 years old Thiem against 32 years old Djokovic. Was the latter a dinosaur?

Bery, bery bad.How bad is Rafa then to lose to Dinosaur?
I dont buy the "dinosaur fed" excuse...to me he looked like he improved his game in mid 2010's...and with it improved his H2H vs Murray and Rafa...2 players that owned him in his "prime years"Fell into that one! Some forget Old Man Fed had a late resurgence & defeated Rafa 5 or 6 straight times! Some GOAT; esp. dropping major; AO SF & '17 Wimbl. final!
Nadal in 2017 was past his prime himself. I wish he could have faced a past prime Federer during his own prime, instead of 2006-2008 Federer. How bad is Rafa then to lose to Dinosaur?
Thiem had no excuses to lose this one.So let's compare it with 2020 AO final.
26 years old Thiem against 32 years old Djokovic. Was the latter a dinosaur?
And a dinosaur Rafa?
Rafa's Grass prime ended in 2011. Anything after that was a cherry on the cake. Just like Roger's heydays on clay were over after 2011.How bad is Rafa then to lose to Dinosaur?
Replace 2014-15 Nole to fight Roger in 2007-08 with prime Roger instead of Rafa and he'll get humiliated in straight & 4 sets.Federer in 2014 was a 32 years old dinosaur?
Djokovic at AO maybe?Sounds like another player at the USO.
So let's compare it with 2020 AO final.

Not really, Rogy was fit as ever at 38...and it looks like Djo and maybe even Rafa will do the sameTill 32 you should beat people 5-6 years younger to you, 33-35 is old, 35-36 and above can be called a dinosaur in tennis terms.
Sampras, Nole and Fed the 3 greatest grass players in the history of tennis, sitting alone in the pantheon of grass greats, while no one else is even in the same grass stratosphere as those 3 Grass Goats. Everyone else is tier, two tiers, 3 tiers even 5 tiers below them.7 Wimbledons, 4 title defences, 28 match winning streak and counting. This match paved the way to Djokovic placing himself amongst the absolute legends of the game on the lawn, where real tennis is played. HC goat aswell. Some other players can only dominate on one singular surface.
Nadal fans have no business whatsoever to talk about grass and some of the great grass champions of the recent times.Reading this I got a ROFLMAO feeling, 2019 Wimbledon hurts Dullards more than Fedfans.

Never underestimate the importance of luck. One little bit is always lurking around to change the course of history. I'm not impressed at how luck is looked at as a nasty word or ''my guy/girl/whatever doesn't need luck.''
Well, not anymore, but it helps when those aged 20-29 all suck ass.LOL so many on here thinking that age 30 and up is suddenly a dinosaur
Um, yeah, Thiem had the age advantage there, that's why he pushed it to 5 in the first place. So let's compare it with 2020 AO final.
26 years old Thiem against 32 years old Djokovic. Was the latter a dinosaur?
One month shy of turning 33. Older than 2020 AO Djokovic.Federer in 2014 was a 32 years old dinosaur?

I am sure that injured person with zero Wimbledon finals in 11 years is more worthy of stunning grass accolades.Replace 2014-15 Nole to fight Roger in 2007-08 with prime Roger instead of Rafa and he'll get humiliated in straight & 4 sets.
Djokovic was plain lucky.
And let's not get to 2021-22 Wimbledon vultures of his, disgusting vacuum of competition.

The latter was. But a 26-year-old Thiem was no similarly aged Djokovic, just like a 27 year old Nick Kyrgios this year at the finals was no Djokovic/Nadal/Federer of that same age.So let's compare it with 2020 AO final.
26 years old Thiem against 32 years old Djokovic. Was the latter a dinosaur?
Rafa's Grass prime ended in 2011. Anything after that was a cherry on the cake. Just like Roger's heydays on clay were over after 2011.
Keep dreaming it. It might happen for you by 2033!Bold prediction: Djokovic will lose at Wimbledon 2023.
I mean he was but the fact that he still won says more about Thiem’s tennis ability than his own.So let's compare it with 2020 AO final.

You make your own luck in this game. Djokovic certainly did that against Federer in the big matches. He went for his shots when down match points or sets.Anyone who saves a MP against Federer's serve is more than a bit lucky. Roger's hold percentage is one of the highest in history.
