Lets say you dislike/hate Djokovic but tomorrow you happen to find him clicking selfies with public, will you also join in and click a selfie or will you ignore him or will you go to him and say bad things to him ?

Same for Federer and Nadal too, lets say you hate them / dislike them, will you click selfies in person or abuse them in person ?

What would be your course of action?

I saw Roger Federer at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a ****** and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I would ask for money.

Oh, and for one of his slam trophies.

Edit: The trophy could be from one of the minor, less important slams. Like RG. ;)

I would be civil and polite to the extent of normal human politeness like if the player had just won a match, I would say congratulations on your win or sorry for your loss but I would not seek a selfie nor want to have an extended conversation with them, nor would I go out of my way to insult them.

Nothing.
I’ve seen players I like in person and never done anything.
They’re people going about their business. I leave them to it.

Kyrgios would get roasted without a doubt, don't really hate any other players...Maybe Z if the allegations are true which they felt so at the time.

Depends whether I dislike them as an athlete or a person. I dislike Sinner as an athlete but would be absolutely thrilled to meet him. I dislike Kyrgios as a person so I'd probably avoid him.

Pretty well the same as I did in close situations to a player I didn't care about and carry on with my business. If meeting actually in person then I gotta be a big shot so I care even less. Yeah fanboys exist but....
