Has anyone played at Ruth Hardy Park in Palm Springs ?

I'm thinking about renting a house close to Ruth Hardy Park for the Pac Life Open in March. Does anyone know if the courts there are in decent shape ? I'm going to want to play while I'm there, so I want access to some decent courts....

Ruth Hardy Park courts are great, but they can get a little busy early in the day. If you can't get a court there, I secend Danapoint in going to Plaza Racquet Club - I play there all the time when in PSP. Never had to pay a membership fee though, just court time. They have great Pros there and they're happy to set you up with hitting partners if needed while you're in town.

If you're into clay courts - The Smoke Tree Ranch has a couple - don't know about rates and I know the Parker has clay courts but they're really pricey.

I'll be down there during the first week of the tournament, and plan on playing on the clay at the Shadow Mountain resort, around $18/hr.
Hey atatu, you probably know that Nike doesn't make 3/4 mid-cut shoes anymore, but Adidas just came out with a Barricade II mid-cut. Check em out.

TW was supposed to have em in stock last month but they haven't appeared yet.
That inferior competitor store in Baltimore has em. Looking at the picture of em, they don't seem that high of a mid-cut.
Since I need Nike's cushioning, I might buy a pair of those expensive ASO ankle braces and some Vapors or Breathe Free's.....

Yeah, that's what I did, ASO plus Nike Resmash, but they're a litte narrow. I may have to try the Cages now....

no longer a travel topic, but I wear ASO and it's no fun trying to get into the Breathe Free's. The cages would be easier as they are cut a little wider.

No problems with the ASICS Gel Resolutions and Barricade IV's and ASO braces...

just my $0.02
