The bearded German who was notorious for SMOKING on the change overs has vanished off the face of the Tennis map,,,,,,WHATS UP WITH THAT ???? Anybody know where this guy ended up, and when did they ban him from smoking on the change overs ? Honestly...that is just to funny !!

He has not totally vanished. He played a future and challenger as late as September last year. http://www.itftennis.com/mens/players/activity.asp?player=10000174

Braasch was funny. Strangest service motion of any tennis player (pro or club level) that I've ever seen.

He's coaching, but I can't remember who (Scheuttler?). And he quit smoking, said it was too hard to keep up with his players!

I heard he was a scientologist. No kidding. That makes me sad, because even though he was nutty, I didn't think he was bat doodoo nutty.

Before he played those Williams sisters, it was said he played 18 holes of golf, had a few beers and another cigarette, then beat those 2 girls easily, saying, "I was only half-trying". Afterwards, the girls then bragged they could beat the 200th ranked male player, not the earlier 100th one....
Recently, he said he admits laughing when he sees his service motion on videotape, since it's the weirdest-looking serve ever....
