Doubt me all you want.
1. Read my first post. I have been playing SERIOUS tennis for 3 months. Last year was my freshman year, I had to take an ATHLETIC COURSE for 2nd semester, after taking a HALF credit for 1ST SEMESTER. So I chose tennis because I was one of those people who THOUGHT that tennis was easy shmeasy and didn't have to work much. (Silly me). That started in January.
During those January-April months, I didn't actually enjoy the game much. People made fun of me and said I should quit because I didn't even know how to count score or anything. Then in May, my dad came home from work with ALL new tennis stuff, new balls, new tennis outfits, BUT Not a new racket yet, and I said - why would you buy me this stuff? I might quit tennis, everyone says I suck. And he yelled at me and said I shouldn't quit, not only because quitting is bad, but because he already bought me everything. So then I was like, I mine as well have to start getting good, and get a better racket, so I went to Academy and bought a $60 Green Prince racket, 2 weeks later, almost end of school, someone steals it from my school (gym) locker. I came home, did NOT want to tell my dad, and came to school the next day and did not play. My friend Grant is a senior now, and he asked me why I wasn't playing, and I said I didn't have a racket anymore. He said, you want to buy my Babolat? And I was like "No.. I need a racket.." and of course he laughed and told me it was a racket and such. So I said i'll think about it.
I went home, searched up Babolat, and called him on the phone. I told him "WTH!!! I CANT AFFORD a $179.00 RACKET RETAIL PRICE!!" and he said, it's okay man. I can sell it for $80. So the next day, I bring up 80 dollars, he has the racket (well the 2nd day since the first day he forgot to bring it :/)
Then I had all new gear, but no game, so I had to start improving. I started calling up a buddy of mine to play every day after school, then school ENDED. Then I had ALL SUMMER TO PLAY. WHICH WAS THE 3 MONTHS OF MY HARD DEDICATION PRACTICE, in which I got better in. Because I did not want to get yelled at this year and made fun of again! I proved most of them wrong when I came back with SOME skill.
So doubt me if you want. Prior to the three months June-August You couldnt call January-May anything but a casual Walmart racket, sandles type player.
Sorry for making you read all this, but theres alot of doubters.
EDIT: I TRULY do not know what number I am (the ntrp thing) I do not want to enter a competition that I will get killed in and lose without winning one game because I thought I was a certain level, and lose 20-40 dollars or whatever. So to the people who think i'm trying to brag or whatever it is, don't. Cause I really don't know what I should be.
