I think most everyone who has hit with one and has compared it to other frames, even a Pure Drive, will say that it is a very powerful racket.
I really liked the frame, other than the constant string breaking and the skinny head. It does play nice, has great feel for an 03 frame, and you can really whack the ball around with it. Looks like its out of production or something, new HT's are going for $90!

Power rated the O3 Hybrid Tour at 2075. It ranked higher than O3 Tour MP
(1903) and O3 Tour 95 Midsized (1945).
O3 Tour Hybrid produces adquate (medlium) power compared to other brand/ models - I think its because of stiffer frame and the higher swing weight.
I know because I just played with one I just purchased. SInce I am used to playing low powered racquet / Mid sized racquets- the O3 Hybrid Tour sure felt more power

That's a lot of power. Is the power compareable to the MG extreme pro? and the price is just outrages!!!! i would rather get the O3 hybird tour than the MG extreme pro due to $$$$$$

I have never hit with any of these more recent HEAD frames, but I think that frame is extremely similar to a Pure Drive Roddick? I think the HT and the PDR are very comparable frames, with both of them suitable for players of a similar style. I think the HT is slightly better for more extreme grips and guys who value feel. The PDR is more forgiving and just an all-around solid frame, only lacking in the feel department. I think only a very select few of flat-hitters will care for either frame, as they are both clearly designed for the "modern game" of tennis. Both are obviously serving machines, but the HT wasn't as great on flatter serves.
They are both powerful and considering their stiffness, very comfortable frames. There was a lot of excitement around the time the HT was going to be released. I just by chance came across one a few days after they came out, I played with it, and bought one new. There was a lot of hype around the frame's release, but a lot of people found it to be unpredictable, too powerful, inconsistent, etc... There were a couple threads about a year ago about this frame being a failure, but I always felt it was underrated.
I always wanted a hit with the 18x20 version, but never could get my hands on them, then just eventually lost interest... Looking back, it is surprising this frame sold for as long as it did. I think it was a learning experience for Prince.
Oh yeah, one other thing. The grip shape on the Hybrid Tour was very different than other Prince grips. It was significantly more square and this was another common gripe about this frame.
Not sure what the debate is about the power level of this frame; the O3 Hybrid Tour does provide pretty decent pop (and I've played with the Babolats and currently use Wilson 6.1 95's).
If you want to compare it to another current frame, I thought that the O3 Hybrid Tour played pretty close to the Wilson 6.1 (pick your model); about as close as you'll get with a Prince frame. Another similar playing stick is the Speedport Tour (with the string hole insert). Just a personal observation.

very low on power. little to no spin. flat hitters take notice.
you serious?! my dream racket then. i owned a prince before. O3 white to be in fact. I loved it at the start then hated it down the track. dunno y. i think it might be due to the fact my dad left it in the car on a 40 degree day!!!!!!!!!!!!
as for the power.... 95 sq inch head and 21 mm thickness should mean low power. but 67 stiffness should counter that.
have u received any of them? 5 demos eh? that's a lot! I live in aus so i can't. but i can do it with a local tennis store which is like 50km away. 1 train and 2 buses.
When i get the chance i'm gona make sure i try the MG instinct, MG Extreme Pro and Hybird Tour. yes i noe, all of the rackets are aggressive baseliner rackets

I just ordered them yesterday, so they should be here next week. I'm especially interested in the Hybrid Tour. But, I wanted to try the others as well. I've never been a big Prince fan, but my recent hit with the POG mid were very good.

Played 2 racquets I purchased a few weeks back - O3 Hybrid Tour and Pure Storm Tour 2008. Played both racquets yesterday for an hour each.
I am very pleased with the O3 performance. I enjoyed it and felt better overall compared to the Babolat Pure Storm Tour 2008 (the Babolat felt heavy and less manuverable).
I then played doubles match with the 03.
Found the 03 be very manuverable especially around the net - volley was crisp and has great control. Slice well and was able to hit thru the ball with topspin and flat on both forehand and backhand shots (1hbh). The only issue I found is serving - I double faulted a number of times in the match. My problem was because I was not feeling of the racquet on my serve (not sure if it has to do with the fatique - after 2 hours of hitting prior to the match). I made some adjustment by slowing things down and started focusing on my serve movement - that's when I got my serve dialed in.
O3 Hybrid Tour is a very unrated frame. It's a perfect frame of an all court player like me - it has the old school feel to it similar to Yonex RDS001 mid and 002 Tour. I Love this frame. I can also say that it plays way better than the KBLADE Tour mid.

I have yet to play singles on the O3 so I can't give you a good guage on how it plays in singles. Unlike T10VE - I have played with it extensively (singles).
This is what I know so far .....
If I am looking for power or playing on a fast court (& in doubles) - I would pick the 03.
For Control or on a slow surface - I would go with the T10VE mid. I am more consistent with the T10 VE - felt that I can hit the ball really hard without worrying the ball spraying all over the court.

Recanting my earlier comments about the KBLADE Tour Mid.
I had very high expecatations when I got the KBLADE Tour and did not performed to what I had expected on my first outing. I took it again today and played 2 sets of singles - I was blown away with the accuracy and the power the KBlade delivers. I stand corrected.
Going back to the topic on hand - my view with the O3 Hybrid Tour has not weaver!

shouldn't the K-Blade tour be low in power???? have u ever tried the MG instinct or MG extreme Pro? I really wanna how both MGs compare to the hybird tour

KBlade Tour Mid has a power rating of 2024
Microgel Instinct is rated at 2066 ; MG Extreme Pro at 2379.
I don't play or have ever played with Heads.
you can see by the stat the KBlade power is almost close to the Instinct. When its rated low at power level - it means that you have to faster swing to generate any power otherwise the ball goes dead. Another factor you have to consider it the headsize - the bigger the head size the more power it generates however, you can bet the control is alot lower compared to a smaller head size.
It's more on individual comfort level and playing style - I am an all court player so I need a racquet that is manuverable. I prefer playing racquet with the following specs: between a mid to 98 head size, racquet weights between 12.2 to 12.8 oz; swingweight between 320 to 330 grams and thin head frame between 18 to 20mm.

I think all of three you mentioned are great racquets for baseliner. And all have been used by the pro's.
My son did play with FLXpt Instinct before switching to LM Prestige. I can recall that he was able to generate good power on the Instinct.
MG Instinct is a lightest of the three at 11oz.
WHile MG Extreme Pro is at 11.8 and the O3 Hybrid Tour comes in at 12oz.
Question for you is are you comfortable wielding a heavier 12 oz racquet and a heavier swingweight? If yes, then you can narrow down the option to just two - O3 Hyb Tour and MG Extreme Pro
The price of the O3 has dropped significantly and you are getting a very high quality racquet where as the MG are still prices at the regular retail price.
It's a tough call....
I agree with that completely.....................its gonna take some long hard think. i'm using an old yonex atm since my prince broke
