best string as a cross that I can buy in a reel?

way too expensive IMO, especially to be crossed with what i expect to be a poly
i like it wit gut. if ur gonna spend money on a poly, y not spend money on a string that is easy on the arm?
Never played it as a cross, but I've played it as a full job on a demo racquet my friend had, and it played fantastic overall.

Pro supex maxim touch is really cheap in a reel as a multi.
I have to disagree. I think the WORST match for poly is a multi. the poly will just shred the multi. Gut does much better, as well as soft monofilaments like forten sweet, gamma tnt, etc.

As a cross, you should get a synthetic gut since the differencee between a multi and synthetic gut is not too noticeable, and not worth that extra money.

Ya, I second Titan or Spiral Flex. Both are very comfortable and really cheap in reels.

I'll have to look into spiral flex and forten sweet myself. Seems to get a lot of good reviews for syn gut.
