which pro do you think you play like?

Serve - Bogdanovic (seriously, it's an exact replica, I was amazed when I first saw him play, I thought I was the only one)
FH - Ancic (big loop, very similar to his)
BH - Courier (not good, I know, but whatever...)

I suck real bad and haven't been playing long enough to develop a style been "attempting" to learn since august 08..that said

Service motion-Federer...i don't like putting my feet together before contact like some players do

FH-who knows...i try the uppercut like Nadal and the Ball makes a REALLY sharp curve like a side ways L...and always lands out
-Or i attempt to copy federers

BH-One handed BH with a lot of pop like RIchie

Im pretty sure a 5 year old Nadal or Federer would bagel me

Groundstrokes like Tommy Hass. 1bh weapon and short take back fh. Can rally but i take any opening and move in.

Serves exactly like gasquet. It's weird, but feels consistent.

Serve, well... No pro has my serve per se (the closest I can think of is Albert Montanes) but I "modelled" my serve after Roscoe Tanner.

Groundstrokes, Guga Backhand and typical American forehand (with a SW).

Volleys, since the majority of pros chop their volleys, the only comparison technique-wise is Taylor Dent.

Graf and Federer, I have both forehands (at my level), Steffi's slice, Roger's topspinbackhand, Steffi's serve and footwork, unfortunately, I also have her net skills.

Justine is my model.

That is a nice model to follow. Beautiful technique. You should post a video.

As for myself, I don't try to copy any pro but I have been going through various iterations of my game through the years.

On serve my motion has been similar to well, I would say a typical claycourt specialist with huge topspin and an eastern backhand serve grip. Then it went to a Becker like movement and now it is more close to a Sampras like motion (although only from the toss onwords, the preparation looks different). Actually I have never really liked the Sampras motion, but it is the most efficient one.

On forehand it is difficult to tell. I used to play with huge topspin a la Bruguera, but now flatten out my shots much more often closer to a Becker or Federer motion. Again, I don't particularly like the way Fed's FH looks but you somehow automatically get there.

On BH, I used to play a 2 HBH and it looked somewhere inbetween Agassi and Rios. Now I use a 1 HBH looking a little like a cross between Becker and Kuerten, if that makes sense.

For volleying, I think I am my own self, although I would like to look like Edberg off course.

I think I am a bit schizofrenic tenistically speaking. On certain days, depending on what racquet I took out of my closet I have a really different style than on others.

Thanks, she's my model but I'm not a good player actually, I just wish I could play like her...

Marat Safin. I'm taller than most (6'3") and move pretty well for my size. My biggest weapons are my serve and 2hbh. The forehand tends to break down before anything else. Decent volleyer. COMPLETE AND UTTER HEADCASE!!!

haha funny since I just started the thread on him, however, deffinetly Nishikori. That one of the main reasons he's one of my favorite players, I look just like him when playing, I do try to come to net more often than he does though. I deffintly do not have his movement however. I'm working on it :D

I grew up idolizing Agassi .

Do I play like him? I like to think so, but in all reality I am the destitute version of Agassi with a little more top spin.

A mixture between Edberg and Santoro.. One hbh, lots of touch, angles, slice and volley... pretty good on defense and a good lob.

My game is mine and mine alone.

Although to be honest there's nothing particularly strange or unique about it except that I switch between one-handed and two-handed backhands based on the ball I'm trying to hit.

got Richie's backhand down to a T and Hewitt-esque forehand though I usually put an annoying amount of top spin on it.

I like the original post. It makes ones really have to examine their game if they are to answer honestly.

Now I am going to be thinking about and watching pro matches differently to see who I play like.

Give Nadal about 3 bottles of wine - than make him play right-handed. That is my game in a good day.

I'm a wannabe Federer with a two hander. I try to play a pretty all court game. I want to make my movement fluid like his, and I use the same service motion.

I may be between Fed/Tsonga

Oh, don't forget that I suck a lot compared to them haha

Serve: Federer
Forehand: Roddick
Backhand: Murray
Slice: Federer
Volleys: they're bad so whoever has the worst volleys

IMO

Haha I dont think thats a good thing. On a 2 hander your left hand does all the work, one a one hander its all right hand.

And I dont dont try to copy the strokes of any player I just meant I played like Lopez/Blake. So, my serve is alright, solid hands, good feel, I run around everywhere and hit forehands. My game in a nutshell.

I am not so sure i can post this here. There are a number of Pro's that play and copy my style. For heavens sake dont think i play like them. its the other way round.

Eg:
Andy Roddick copies my Back hand to the T
Fabrice santaro plays his Forehand like i do
