backpacks work fine.... there was a 5.5 guy at S&H that almost one the open tourney that carried his racquets in this canvas bag.
and the best player i know carries 2 wilson tour 90s and just throws them in the ground. no bag needed!
but i have a matching yonex 6 pack bag for 20 bucks if you want more room.

Hahaa. I know the guy with the canvas bag I think. He played with N95s and was a singles player for Notre Dame. He won a money prize Open tournament and spanked Sup in the second round. Super nice guy and leads his racquet. He had really heavy balls (insert tfm joke).

I just have one bag that carries all of my tennis stuff, which is what I bring when I play. I would never get multiple bags (like a tennis bag and a backpack) to carry my tennis stuff as that seems more pointless than just having one bag to carry all my ****.

I'm still waiting for someone to invent a shrink-ray (like in the Jetsons), where I can zap all my tennis **** and then just carry it around in my pocket.

post a review after you've tried em out. i assume you are gonna play with these stock for a while?

i'm predicting you won't like them. ;)

Wanna make a bet tfm?

First person to jump ship to another racquet, has to foot half the bill for a replacement stick for the winner?

2nd Rnd MURRAY v Monaco?
2nd Rnd: NADAL v scrub?
2nd Rnd: SAFIN v Ljubicic?

2nd Rnd: VIKTORRR? v Nalbandian

Hey this is an open ended question: if you had two of the same racquet for sale strung differently: would you sell them for two different prices?

I think it is odd- unless you were planning to restring the frames.

True that. Real players just show up with a towel, some water, and a stack of sticks. They must figure they won't be on court long, so why carry all that stuff.

i would sell them for the same but some people try to sell racquets strung w/ GUT for more.

what are you buying/selling now?

well I am selling a pair of prince triple threat rebels- really nice frames ( just not as perfect for me as the gammas).

But that's beside the point. A guy had 9 gammas six of which were in worse condition strung with better string and priced 10 bucks more than his 3 in 9/10 condition strung with regular synthetics. No gut involved.

Sup was the club's mule tonight.

They had a beat the pro night. I was told no one signed up,except one guy, and that my first match was at like 8pm. Heck no! 7 peeps showed up! I had to play 7 sets (no ad scoring) for 3 hours *6-9pm*

Sup scores: 6-0 (3.0 with handicap), 6.0 (3.5 with handicap), 6-1 (4.0 with serve handicap 3), 6-4 (4.5), 4-6 (4.5), 6-3 (ex legg mason qualifier - as he told me).

Anyways I'm proud of myself. I had zero to eat cause I was caught off guard and paced myself well. No breaks, no food, and the only set I lost had 8 break points that, if I converted, would of given me the set.

So anyways,... thought I would share JRS style.

Good work on three hours of whooping up any/all competition. I doubt I can come close in my current shape.

Can't wait for the rebel review, and maybe even a coach's log on me?

thanks auzzie. I guess the semi retired life agrees with me.

You want a coaches log?

The prince is so shiny and new. Cant wait to hit with it tomorrow. according to tfm i wont like it.

IMHO - I can't see paying more for sticks with slightly better string - unless they string it fresh when you buy. Otherwise, odds are you are just going to cut it out anyway - who knows how long it's been in there or even if you like he tension.

My point exactly. When asked about stringing fresh he just tells me I am too late. All frames sold (9 total). Am still waiting on pictures that they actually existed. Whole thing seems mildly sketchy to me.

I kinda like the super smash spiky. You def have to hybrid them though.

Adidas sucks worse than the new tecnifibres.

And I live in Harford county about 40 mi utes from Towson if The Qustion Wants his answer :)

I also picked the wrong side of my bracket to have a 13 and a 12 win. Thats the only hiccup of mine so far. but 13 outta 16 tems left aint too bad.

sup -- you're on! at first i thought you had already hit with your new prince racquets but it looks like you are hitting with them today for the first time. BUT i think you misunderestimate my stubborness and competitiveness. i won't switch racquets before you do. mark my words.

INCONCEIVABLE Sup loses this bet.

Nice. I needed a new stick. Italian vs Korean stubborness. You'll lose buddy boy.

P.S. Keeping your sticks and playing with another is not kosher .. even mooching! Just so you know.

30-love or love-30 for anyone 4.5 or under and I gave the 4.5's each 3 serves. So they blasted away but never got an ace (proud of that).

Some filipino guy from the tennis social showed up to play me. Saw the first 3 guys and decided to withdraw. He had already paid. Sorry no refunds (he was cool with that).

P.S. I went home and ate like Sappy/PP at an all you can eat buffet.

... Don't know about Sharapova. Don't give a hoot about the WTA. Overpaid, overpampered, bit****.

Sup and Drak.

That there...see that? Do you have a problem with someone saying that? If not, why not? Is it because you're men? What if they said that about your mother, daughter, sister, wife? Then would you have a problem with it?

See, if you've ever been a woman (and I don't think either of you have) you would recognize that as abusive language.

Yes, I responded, and I knew I was getting close to the line when I did...I was actually trying to restrain myself.

But never EVER will I let that kind of stuff go. And if you knew more about me, you'd understand why.

What upsets and saddens me even more is how many men actually objected to what was said...*crickets chirping*. None. And I have to ask myself...why? Why is okay for that guy to get off saying that, and I (and Love Game) get ridiculed for standing up for women and pointing out the extreme ignorance in those posts? Why do the guys on here not hesitate to stand up for Nadal/Federer, but not say a word when crap like this gets posted?

So, I don't think I broke the soapbox rule, but I can see where you might think so. So what now? You take my racquet? You already have it. In the end, standing up for what I believe in is more important than a racquet. In the time that I've been refraining I've read so much of this type of crap on this board that it makes me not want to be here anymore.

And, if I'm ever fortunate enough to have a daughter, I will teach her to not put up with it either...nobody should ever have to put up with that kind of language. Those words, when not stopped...lead to other actions.

Other than the derogatory comment at the end (the "B" word),,,, I have zero problems with that statement, because quite frankly it is true.

However, in the other thread you refer to, you were not arguing about the derogatory comment. You are in the camp that woman should get the same perks as men, and made that your center theme in the debate>>> not the derogatory comment.

See, if you've ever been a woman (and I don't think either of you have) you would recognize that as abusive language.

I don't need to be a woman to see that as abusive. However, again, you were not posting about that. You were posting about "equality" in the game. And, as I have already pointed out, they get more perks than men, for "working" less. Why doesn't that upset you????

What upsets and saddens me even more is how many men actually objected to what was said...*crickets chirping*. None.

Oh please. You know how many times Nadal, Federer, Murray, Young, etc are insulted on these boards with all sorts of stuff worse than what this one poster said about the WTA players??? Hundreds if not thousands of times in a week. **crickets chirping**

And I have to ask myself...why? Why is okay for that guy to get off saying that,

Because you and Love Game were too busy arguing that women should get equal pay, rather than reporting that post to the mods. Again, in your posts, and Love Games, the central theme was to argue that women deserve to get equal pay, and I suppose found this argument more important than reporting a derogatory comment.

Not sure what you are referring to about the racquet? Perhaps this is a inside thing between Sup and yourself.

Hugs and Kisses, and see you in three days. :)

Topaz,

People like that guy overexaggerate things on these boards. mostlty just because he can, and when he does that he invokes a response in somebody and he usually thinks thats funny.

I wont go as to call all female athelets B words like that guy. But just looking at pova you can tell shes a spoiled obnoxious brat. So i think that guys description of pova is actually pretty acurate.

And as far as the WTA or any womans pro sports is concerned to me I just dont find it too entertaining. People do and i understand that, but Im not one of them. I know its hard to do sometimes but its probably best to just ignore that guy. 98 % chance that guy wont say that phrase quite like that in front of your face (or any females face) the internet in all its glory gives him a chance to feel like hes a rebel.

Check out this idiot

Michael Taris of Levittown, PA. You've been a busy guy. Not only have you held jobs as a male escort, a male massage therapist and a professional wrestler, 7-Eleven says you tried to rip them off. According to the Pennsylvania State Attorney General's office, you saw a "small splash of coffee" on the tile floor of a Levittown 7-Eleven in 2007 and staged a very big fall to make it look like you'd slipped. Then they say you filed a bogus claim that you'd injured your neck and back. Except wrestling fans kept seeing you doing atomic leg drops and spinebusters in the ring. You're not particularly smart, are you, Michael? You've been charged with insurance fraud and criminal attempted theft by deception. So into the lake you go, Mikey. But just for us, could you make it a triple-jump moonsault?

Hugs and Kisses, and see you in three days. :)

I never, in any of my posts, mentioned anything about pay. Go back and look at the thread...Sup quoted the three posts I made on there. I was not referring to pay when I said anything about perks...I think I picked that word up from someone who had responded to me. Not sure, as I did leave the thread for a bit (because of the soapbox issue). And, after I said I was leaving, I did unsubscribe, and didn't check it again after seeing your post, and then I saw Sup's post about the soapbox. Too busy arguing? I had three posts in the whole thread about this. All of *my* posts were in response to the one I quoted above and to people responding to me about that.

I was referring to equality in respect. And in Indian Wells and in Miami, the women and the men will all be playing best out of three sets. Same work. These girls have put the time in on the courts since they were children...just like the guys. There are just as many clunker men's matches as there are women's. That is my point. Women are constantly put down here...I've never said the women were better...my argument has *always* been that you can find the good and the bad on *both* tours...it isn't relegated to just the women. You had pointed out injury timeouts and retirements...again, you'll find just as many men who do that as women.

I do point out other posts about Fed, Nadal, and the like, go look at my post history..but I'm not on the board enough to respond to each of those threads.
