Haha, no I wasn't wearing the scuba suit. I was dressed to play tennis though. Sunday, actually sucked for me.
I went to Dick's to buy a case of tennis balls and the wife came with me. She ends up getting $300 worth of running clothes and I get a case of tennis balls.
Then I go down to my courts so I can work on my new kick serve and there are about 20 people all hanging around and playing tennis/eating... wtf?!?! So I realize I'm not getting on the court anytime soon so I go to the gym all angry. Then while I'm lifting (dumbell press) I almost drop the damn weight on my face!
So then I go home and help the wife with dinner and that's when the avocado incident happens.
How much was the case of balls?

There is a rumor of mutiny if PP and Shcmad don't get a chance to get to the meet. As if PP won't get lead poisoning again.
When: April 11th (Saturday) 12-4
Where: TBD
What: Tennis, food and round robin
WHO CAN MAKE IT.?
Vote now. Otherwise.. we will go with April 18th.. at TFM's house .. make sure to eat a lot of meat and clog his toilet. lol.. j/k

WTOP's forecast has not changed...still says 30% chance of showers and temps in the low 60s. The showers are coming in Friday night (WTOP says showers just overnight, and perhaps lingering into the morning)...so since we are not starting until noon, we should be okay, but may have to do some court drying before we play.
That's my take anyway. Not panicking just yet, but I think indoor time will be very, very tough to get for such a large group and for such a long period of time.

I was worried, I may not be able to make the BBQ because I just got a call to cater for 65 people Saturday. But I am delivering the goods at 11 and should be free afterwards (crossing fingers).
BTW got two more Gamma's in the mail today. It feels SOOOOOO good to have a collection of the same frame again, and more importantly have a collection of the same frame that I feel I am going to stick with! I have gone through hell trying to find a frame I love. Shockingly the last time I owned three of the same racquet was none other than: the Yonex MP Tour 1 98 :shock:. Hope my journey doesn't foreshadow the next couple years of your tennis life, TFM.

i suspect much like the millenium bug or Y2K scare it will all work out just fine and the world won't end as we know it. then again it could also crash the forums and we'll all have to get back to work. that would suck. hope TW ran the security update for conficker too.

Seriously, when I saw the email saying "Don't forget about the meeting this Saturday.." I yelled out loud WTF?!?! Scared the **** outta my dogs. The meeting should be over by 1:30pm though, so maybe I can still come back and catch the tail end of the BBQ.
This would've been the second MAC meet where I don't play due to injury. Technically the third, if you count that I actually hurt myself during the one we had out in Reston last spring.
