jolly i'd like to see a snapshot of your closet or whatever.. i'm sure it is a sight to behold.

my roommmate used to buy clothes like crazy...but never duplicates....he had literally about 40 different pairs of khakis though..mostly different shades....and just about every single color imaginable for polos. He was also a huge label hizzoe...only wear like R.L. Polo...and he had a liking for huge billboard labels like HOLLIST...or ABER....across his shirts :p Ah...he had a couple hundred caps...mostly baseball like new era fitted hats.

when you're in practice,do you take 2 or 3 of the same shirts? Or do you mix it up?

My normal closet like with my regular clothes too, or just my tennis shirts?

Normally when I practice I wear all black. And I have either solid black, or black and white shorts (yea, like a billion pairs)

So for like a normal after work practice I will wear one short, and have 2 shirts that match it, either the same shirt or different, doesn't much matter.

For like a long weekend practice, or day at the park or tournament, I will bring a few shorts and a bunch of shirts.

I also bring a bunch of hats and socks, if it is really hot I'll bring a couple pair of shoes, but I really don't sweat much so I rarely need to change shoes or use wristbands. Just the backwards hat, or bandana to keep the sweat out of my eyes.

You know how some blacks are darker than others, so some shorts are closer in color to some shirts, and I try my best to match them up. (yea, I have a problem, I know, at work we have uniform service, and the older uniforms fade the more they get washed, and the new ones are darker, so I try to find a pair of pants, and a shirt that are evenly faded, so I am not wearing dark blue pants, and a faded blue shirt at work)

Sometimes I wear something nice to hang around and BS in and do my errands, then when I actually go out to practice, I will change into my normal black stuff.

Then when I get home I hang all the stuff on a drying rack so it doesn't go into the hamper soaking wet.

wow lol i only wear my tennis specific shirts for tournaments cuz i dont wanna waste them practicing

you seem pretty well-off, judging from your inventory of rackets and clothing. may i know what you do for a living and what your secret is? :)

Oh, I buy duplicates of normal clothes too if I really like them.

But moreso tennis stuff, because that is mostly what I wear.

I am all about buying stuff to wear it, not to have it sit in your closet and look pretty, so I have really good clothes and shoes, and I wear them.

And if they get stained, or messed up, then whatever.

So where with a tennis shirt, I'll buy a bunch of them, and wear them the same day, with a dress shirt, or something, if I really like it, I'll get 2 and that way if I wear one out and spill something on it, I'll have another.

I really don't buy normal clothes too much anymore, just to fill in certain things that I need for whatever season. I have pretty much everything you could imagine covered (I have been basically the same size for the past 8 years, and have more classy than trendy taste), so it is pointless to buy excess stuff when I already have it.

I am for sure a label who**, but I would never wear crap like A&F, or Hollister, it just isn't my style, nor do I find it tasteful. Any time that something like that would be worn I am either preppy, Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Brooks Brothers, or else something like Oakley if the preppy would be out of place.

I know, I am F'ing weird...What can I say?

No wife and kids, get rid of girlfriends when they start costing too much or interfering with tennis.

Does wonders for making an otherwise ordinary income go further.

The stuff just accumulates over the years as long as you stay the same size.

If you buy 1 shirt a month, after 5 years you have 60 shirts.

They don't wear out like sneakers.

You can still get them, many nike outlet stores have them, tell them you did a nike find, or ask an outlet to actually do a nike find and they'll ship them for free.

Pretty good. I have an over abundance of shoes so I wanna get rid of some. They fit well. Very similar to the ones before them and similar to the last version of the Cage's.

Mario or anyone else, have you worn the barricade V and the Vapor VI? I have the BV but the black/red vapors look real nice. I wear a 10.5 in the BVs and a 11 in asics gel resolution if that helps

Lol yup! I signed my Head Contract and got 2 of them for free and bought 1 more after trying them out! So all 5 for 600 bucks! But I just got the OZ black fed polo, the green twill shorts, white summer shorts, and both new fed polos! Will post pics as soon as they come in!

when you get a chance can you compare the two fits? I'm probably gonna get the black and red vapors when the federer stuff is on sale. Thanks

nah...2 racquet maximum for a P2. I'm gonna go back and try to get p1 status and i think they may get more of an allowance

I like the Vapor fit a lot better...though i havent played with them yet...they are even wider than normal imo than previous vapors...look amazing too! the white and gold!

Yeah it is, I thought it was going to be a lot darker than what it actually came to be, but I don't mind the color, except it doesn't go with the outfit I had planned for it. I may have to buy the shorts to match.
