Oh yeah - Props to Czech09 for a good hit last night. Arlington peeps, make sure to get in contact w/ him.

Took forever to get a court at Quincy Park and we just found out that you can reserve courts online in Arlington, so you have people with reservation in hand jumping on court while you've been waiting FOREVER - GRRRRRR........

We hit from about 8pm to a little past 10pm, then I had to go home and pass out on the couch.

It's funny when people want you to do thier work for them. We were second in line and the guys in front of us if we wanted to talk to the guys on the court to see if they can hurry up. I'm like WTF??? I'm going to clear these dudes off the court so you can play???

Then later, these two players just rolled up and took the we were waiting for. We figured she had a reservation, but the woman who was in line behind us got all mad like "hell no, go check!" so Czech09 went over and the people on court pulled up their reservation on thier iphone - LOL! Qunicy Park is such an animal house.....

dang it.. i lost again.
serving pretty well, but once the ball is in play i am not bending my knees which is sending my shots flying all over. sigh. now i am questioning my strings, my string tension... etc.
but i am just out of shape. fragnabit.
i want to meet you guys @Quincy, but i got to be somewhere @6 and i will get in trouble with the boss if i am late.

i am suing Arlington County for the whole $5 reservation thing. its discrimination i tell ya. it allows rich people to kick poor people off the court. i've started a class action and i am going to be rich. and once i am rich i will want to be able to reserve public tennis courts to keep the bums off. life is strange that way.

p.s. - i wrote this fabulous post about King Supledore that disappeared from his TWMACdom and the evil Zapdemort had enchanted the crazy ukranian to force King Sup to drink inebriating potions and eat the honeyest of pigs before battling on the scorching Taliban courts of doom... or King Sup just had a bet with TWSFdom's King Drak about when anarchy would take hold of us and we kill off one of our own (probably a chubby/bespectacled member ala Piggy in LOTF) but i got logged out and it didn't post. dang it.

We're playing on base so I doubt a mini meet. Plus a I doubt Zap will show up on time for me to escort him in. Zap - I'd HIGHLY advise trying to hit another day.

Here is the address - 8901 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD‎. If you are driving, call me about 5 min before you arrive and come in through the gate DIRECTLY across from the Medical Center metro.

Let me know of you finally decide to drive or metro as I'll need to escort you onto base.

you sure have a way with the womenz Xis!
dood if you're chubby, i'm fat. and unlike you i don't have the willpower to not drink beer. so it is only going to get worse. i guess my total lack of training is starting to get to me... can't even bend down to tie my shoes these days.
i guess i have entered the "club of ancient tennis players" when i need just the right amount of ibuprofen to run along the baseline for 15 second intervals without hurting all over. sigh........

p.s. - at the pool i go to, all of the teenage kids have discarded their board shorts in favor of speedos. in fact, now if you are between 8-18 and you don't wear a speedo, you get mocked by all the "cool" kids. even the "not so slender" kids have been suckered into it. i just wanna smack all of them.
