AWESOME find! I've been waiting for ages to see this!
The old bag looks sturdier... this one looks like it would lose shape when its empty unlike the current one.

I've been begging for someone to post pics of the bag and you came through. Anyways, my old bag which is in its 3rd year is starting to break down. It's still useable but the zippers are breaking and the plastic is starting to peel off. But nontheless, 3 years for a bag is perfect. That was about 20 bucks a year which isn't bad at all.

Anyone know if the new bag has the "hard shell" like the old areo bag? If not does it keep it shape when empty as well as the last version? TIA.

Yes the is also hard shell. and it will keep its shape when empty.
