I used to use the APDC but switched over to the AS a few months ago. My game has improved a ton and the slightly higher SW and increased flex/control is really making a difference.

I've kept the APDC just because... It's not worth much to sell as a ton of used ones are on the market and my gf likes to use it...

Roddick, I like the extra swing weight and stiffness. It's just enough to be noticeable. I just starting switching over to the Roddick after playing the regular GTs for almost a year now (April '09)...

No they are not. They are just an older generation of the same racket...I should know, I own 3 of them. The two which are similar are the MSpeed Pro no 1, and the one in the middle is the "MPro no 1" (or whatever they called it) which is basically a paintjob of the MSpeed with a slightly different grip shape/buttcap.

You are right, they were also 16x20 but I only count 19 crosses!

Here's a reply:

I cannot see the photos attached because my office's firewall prevents me from doing so.

Anyway, I'm assuming you're referring to the two M Speed Pro # 1 and the M Pro #1 in the middle. If that is the case then the M Speed's are the 105 version which is 16x19 and the M Pro is the 98 version which is 16x20.

goran_ace is correct. The two M Speeds are 105 square inches (16x19) and the M Pro is 98 (16x20). A little optical illusion.

Couldn't really tell from the photos that they were the 105's. Maybe if all 3 would have been pointing in the same direction one could tell by comparing directly but as it is...it's tough to see. Thanks for the clarification.

I've always built them up like that. For whatever reason, it helps me keep a loose but secure grip on the stick...

I use about 3/4 of a discarded overgrip pulled just taut, which keeps the end from getting too hard on the hand and is quite comfortable. I used to use hockey tape, but the end felt too much like the knob of a bat.

yeah they're the 95 18x20's strung with a full bed of Luxilon ALU Power Rough, although these pictures were taken awhile ago, now I have Adrenaline 17g in the mains

also sorry for the picture quality, they're kind of blurry, I took them with digital macro and apparently macro looks extremely blurry when the pics are blown up
