Quick treatment of wrist tendonitis?

So, I have pain in the pinky (ulnar) side of my wrist when I play tennis sometimes, and it lasts throughout the day after playing. I think it's tendonitis of the ECU or FCU. It doesn't hurt so much to pronate/supinate or to flex/extend, but moving side to side (abduction/adduction) hurts most. Tennis season is half over and I just want a temporary treatment that I can easily do without buying anything. I will take a few months off when the season ends. I just want it to stop for the time being so it doesn't get worse.

Thanks.

The lack of responses is the message....THERE ISN'T ANY quick treatment for this condition. You plan to keep playing with this? You will get what you deserve.

Take at least a few days off to see if the inflammation goes down. If it doesn't take a few more days off. (That's off from hitting - do even more agility drills and HIIT to get in even better shape.)

I know each match seems important now. But you don't want it to get to the point where you lose the rest of your season, including end of season tournaments.

Wrap or tape your wrist. Many pros do (Davydenko, Soderling, many others). I have identical tendonitis-like pain in my wrist from time to time. Wrapping helps and appears to be a good preventive measure.

The trick is to wrap it firm but not too tight - you will figure out what tension works best for you.

I personally do not like athletic tape at all because it is too stiff. What works well for me is [ACE] "Sports Underwrap". It is essentially the thin spongy stuff that is used as a layer before athletic tape is applied so as to avoid ripping off hairs etc. This thin sponge tape is very flexible so I can wrap my wrist tight without cutting off circulation or losing flexibility. And it absorbs sweat.

Thank you. I'm looking for treatment, not cure. I will 'cure' it 2 weeks from now because my tennis season is almost over. But for the time being, I will take the above poster's advice as much as I can.
