FO surface fastest in 20 years

First it was Isner, then I heard Todd Woodbridge telling the Tennis Channel yesterday that this was the fastest the surface has played in 20 years of his experience.

When Nadal wins this, it will be difficult for certain people to trash it as a win on a slow surface.

People managed to trash Nadal when he beat Federer on grass...this win will be easy as hell to take apart.

Face it, the AO win against Fed didn't count either. As a matter of fact anytime anyone beats Federer it does not count, cause it's no fair!!!

Not anymore with the rain. It’s back to slowmo now.

I'm sensing a pattern here. The way we can tell that a Grand Slam win counts(the opposing pov that one could ever not count being flatly idiotic on it's face) is when Federer doesn't lose. Federer wins = it counts. Federer loses = it doesn't count, because that's a violation of the laws of nature.

Do I have that right?

It may not count for idiot and clowns, of which we have plenty on this forum, but in terms of history, real fans, newspapers...Every title counts.

Kidding me ? Its way slower than last year..maybe because of the weather, but still I make my point.

Lenglen is the slowest without a doubt.

The balls are bouncing so high that the Woodies said the back courts don't have enough space behind the baseline to play from.

Todd said he would not like to face Nadal under these conditions.

Seems as though Nadal strikes terror in the hearts of players, something that Federer never could.

Yep. Fastest in 20 years. That's why Roddick got broken like 6-7 times in 3 sets today.

Another win thread by sureshs.

No, Roger warms their hearts with a nice cup of coco. Unlike that other jerk!

Amazing how the French will do the utmost possible to kiss Fed's hairy ass

Haven't you heard? Federer has the best serve in the game, let's see how many times he gets broken to determine the court speed.

May I ask who Watson's and Holmes' favorite player is?

Holmes: You may indeed. It is the player who, in our opinion, has the most beautiful game, is the most creative shot maker... and whose on court demeanour we admire most.

Watson: in the case that Holmes hasn't made himself clear, we think you might admire him also...If avatars are anything to go by.

No, Nadal only loses if he was tired or injured.

WTF is the point of this thread? I don't want to see a single ******* ever act self-righteous again after seeing this thread. You're just as bad as the worst of the *******s.

If Nadal were to take the title on the red grass of Paris against all odds, where would that place him among the greatest grasscourt players of the open era?

I'm surprised they didn't put some grass in. Anyway Nadal won the best ever game on grass so I don't think it will bother him.
