Blake is playing Robin Haase right now. It's tough to tell on the live feed what he's using.

BTW....Blake had a run in with Pam Shriver while he was playing. Seems Shriver was giving an update right behind Blake and he heard her. She was talking while a point was going on... Blake said "It's amazing, I can hear you talking while I'm playing..." Shriver said something and Blake said "Oh so now you're going to give me attitude about it?"

That was the highlight of the match.:)

He is using his old blacked out Dunlop. He should try the Dunlop AG 4D 100. What a great racquet! Certainly at this point it could not hurt his game the way he is playing these days.

Is the 100 a forgiving racket for that size head? I'be heard its a great stick for customization

Blake would probably find almost all of the newer racquets to be too "hollow and tinny", as he calls them. That's probably why he used the Wilson BLX Tour 90 in the Aus Open, one of the very few newer racquets that is not "hollow and tinny" feeling.

I play with PC600 and can tell you that the AG 4D 100 is not hollow and tinny.

Have you also tried the AG100? That is hollow and tinny compared to the old school racquets. I think the only new racquet I've tried that's not hollow and tinny over the past 10 years (other than the Wilson Tour 90 series) is the TW Donnay Pro One Int'l, but that was designed back in the early 90's.

No, I have only hit with the 4D version of the 100. You missed out on the i.Prestige series. Definitely not hollow and tinny.

You're right. The i.Prestige Mid was less tinny and hollow than most newer racquets but still not as rock solid as some of the older racquets, IMO. But didn't the i.Prestige come out almost 10 years ago?

March 2001 and production stopped for the most tinny and hollow the LM Prestige in 2004.

It's a shame you haven't tried the original AG100, I feel that it is a good racquet, just too stiff for me. I wanted to know if you felt the new one was better.

He said his knee is not coming along that well and he might be forced to retire because of it. Then it won't matter what he uses or wears I suppose.
