You mean you dont give a SHEEEEEEEIT.

It might as well be 80s music day. Especially if you count N.W.A. That was great 80's music.

Although probably not safe for work and maybe offensive to females. Actually I'm sure it's offensive to females. So if you are not Honey Badger female dont click the link. But if you are Honey Badger female and dont give a S$&T feel free to click the link, and still probably be offended.

got the first one yesterday and hit with it last night. it had poly mains and syn gut crosses at 59 pounds. definitely not my preferred setup. but despite that - i really liked it. biggest thing i noticed immediately was the level of control. a lot higher than with the ozone tours which i always thought was good but it pales in comparison. my volleys have returned and i hit a good dozen or so drop volleys or drop shots. i played with the stock leather and overgrip and vibe damp and it weighed 340 grams exactly. it worked fine for 2 hours but i took off the leather and replaced with a synthetic grip when i got home. with the leather removed and no overgrip = 330 grams. it's a keeper.

Glad you found a good frame monkey. You should have kept the TF320 you used to have would have saved you lot of time and money :)

I hit those ozones once and it would feel like for no reason the ball would shoot off in some random direction even if the shot felt good on impact.

with my 325s i hit alot of mishit frame lobs that beat the guy at net. So thats my mark that its a keeper.

exactly! a racquet that allows you to hit winners even when you don't hit the strings is the mark of a good frame. the ozones are really soft and flexy so yeah that makes for a little more loosey goosey control but i still thought control was good. just not sniper like accurate like the prestige. actually i'd have a hard time finding grommets for the tf320 if i still had em. oh and extra bonus points to the ytpp for being dead sexy. ozone tours were never sexy. they were somewhat opposite of sexy.

what do you guys think? new jeep grand cherokee srt8. hemi with 400-something horsepower and 0-60 in less than 5 seconds. it's for hauling the kids AND hauling azz at the same time. plus it lets everyone know for a fact what they already suspect: i have a small wee wee. i think it's my next car for 2012 when the world will probably end according to the ancient mayans or incans or whoever those human sacrificers were.

Anybody want to buy a 2010 Audi A4 (White). I haven't driven it in two months since I take the metro to work now. I don't foresee myself driving it in the near future. I'm basically paying for a car I never drive. Come to think of it, I hate driving. Someone needs to invent the teleportation thing so I can just zip from place to place instantly.

does it look like this one? i think audi's got the best styled cars from germany but i was always gunshy about the 2.0T. it's the same engine in a vee dub.

I can't tell what rims are on that one... but yes, that is the exact one.

I don't get caught up in engines since
a. I hate driving.
b. I don't make my living off winning races.

All I know is there is a gear called "S" and when I put it in "S" and step on the gas the car jumps like it got kicked in the ass and then my MPG goes down to like 5/mpg.

I've had the car for about 16 months now and it has 2k miles on it.

TennisMonkey,

That Jeep looks nice, and it does say small wee wee. However you are asian, so you may get that "oh okay.. that's fine" look from passerbys. Just kidding, we know Sappy is probably hung like a Honey Badger.

JRK,

I don't want to ruin your car sale, but I'm going to pull a Paulman 411 alert. Wasn't your car giving the accordion treatment last year from a drag race gone wrong? I could be totally wrong, but show me the carfax. I was thinking of buying a family member a car like that.

JRk -- lol. i scared your wife and baby rio earlier this week. i park at the CDC and saw them walking into the center. i must've startled rio because she gave me the look of -- who the eff are you?! cute stuff. and no my kids don't go there. i'm on the waiting list but i'm the lowest priority citizen - dirty contractor. so by the time my number is called -- my kids will be going off to college.

paulman -- i know vee dub owns audi. but they also own lambo and bentley and bugatti. so theoretically i'd like to buy a volkswagen golf and i want the 1001 horsepower bugatti veyron engine. i think the power to weight ratio would be pretty good for a front wheel drive car.

That W16 in the Bugatti is too heavy for a Golf you would be better served with a V12 TDI out of the R10 Le mans car.

800px-R10_Engine.jpg

It only has about 700 bhp and close to 1000 ft lbs of torgue but it lighter weight will help the golf handle a little better in the parking lots.

Haha, I think everyone parks at the CDC and walks. Parking is a real b**ch on that base. I actually had to break up a fight between two older people who were in each other's faces in the patient parking garage one day.

The waiting list isn't much shorter for active duty people... pretty much the day that little blue "plus" sign showed up on the pregnancy test, we put our name down on the list. Rio didn't get in until she was already 3 months old.

They have crazy security in there too... in order to get your kid out you basically have to go through the same test Eddie Murphy had to do to get the knife in the movie Golden Child.

if i recall - eddie murphy had to drink a glass of water. sure he had to navigate a maze of stone pillars.

um - i've been on the waiting list for over a year now for my 2 munchkins. we call every month to keep our name on the list. it's brutal.

He couldn't spill a drop of water while navigating all these crazy obstacles, then he had to reach into the fire and grab the knife.

Then he said one of the funniest lines ever:

"Hey, I've got the knife... now turn on some goddamn lights!"

You do know its pretty easy to Find NSXs now for pretty cheap.

I know a guy around here bought one for 15grand. The paint was faded, but other than that it was spot on. If you got 40 grand you can get one in great condition.

So 40 grand for your dream car of all time is attainable.

welcome back auzzie. i take it your sabbatical is over?

i have a youtek prestige pro and an o3 red and pure storm team.

hollywood/zapvor -- good call on the used nsx. but i looked it up and in this area, people are smoking some good stuff. i see a 2004 with the targa top for $52 large. it's not like these things are ferraris.

HW-i know but i am something like 40grand in the red, so its not as feasible for me as you think :( somoene find me a new job!

monkey-yea they do get overpriced. but it is better than a ferrari. you can drive an nsx daily to over 150K miles

My sabbatical was called Lent. Its amazing how few frames I buy when I am not checking the FS boards religiously.

How did you get a hold of a PSTeam? That was an awesome frame, I should never have given it to my cousin. O3 Red has also been on my radar recently. When we hitting?????

But its still do-able.

Testarossa and countachs are down to around 50,000 bucks also. So I guess those cars that I thought were awesome when I was 10 are somewhat affordable.

This guy around me has a Ferrari 318. Think Magnum PI. It sists in his driveway and he parks the Minivan in his garage.

A guy I worked with in Hawaii bought a used 318 for 12k. He let me drive it once. It was a lot of fun except for the fact that there was no power steering.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Most of my family was in town for Easter. My brother and his girlfriend came down from NY as well so it was a lot of fun to watch the Caps game with them since they are hardcore Rangers fans.

If anyone wants to hit indoor this week, let me know. I want to try and give my hand a second round of tennis therapy to see my progress, if any.

i haven't driven a ferrari but my buddy has an old magnum pi testarossa and he said while there are many cars faster now -- like camry's and suv's -- it goes around corners like it's got stick em for tires. and he mentioned the workout because of the heavy steering.

what did you do to your hand again JRK? thought baby rio would be good therapy. pick her up with one hand and then do curls.

yea its doable. the only issue is by the time i save up enough all the nsx's will have like 200K miles on them and be beat up. i need the money now!

ferraris are nice but for that kind of money the value is just not there....its almost merely to show off then actually buying a car to drive

I broke the 3rd and 4th metacarpal bones in my right hand.

I can't close my hand completely (make a fist) so it's a little difficult to hold a racket or punch someone in the face.

Im pretty sure that what the NSX was made for. You cant afford a ferrari just buy this its close. But since you are American we will call it an acura and make you pay even more.

Chevy has been making corvettes for years, and for the most part its for the dudes to show off.

If you wanted to buy a nice car to drive you would just get a Hyundai Genisis or something.

Ok, I'll let you know. I don't even get home until 7pm, so it would be later than that.

Yes, I still have the Fischers, strung up with Alu mains and Maxim Touch crosses.

Sorry, guys. I've been around...but not here. Talk of cars and such. Love it, but atm I'm stuck with a Mommy Vehicle (Subaru Forester). Makes me miss my days of Opel GTs, RX-7s and Mitsubishi 3000s. Nothing high-end mind you. But they'd get up and go. On a budget.

Slow tennis week for me. But that's OK. I'm still recovering from a rough week on court last week. Heartbreaking loses and an unsatisfying win. Oh well, that's the breaks.

Hope all had a good (Easter, if it applies) weekend!!! Weather was great down here in Richmond.

The 45's nationals are being held at the club this week. I am pretty impressed with the strategy and level of play. These guys remind me of all of our best qualities rolled up in ben gay and sport braces.

Good stuff.

that is true. it was made to rival the ferrari. but they exceeded it:)

corvettes are not show offs like ferraris. with good maintenance you can take it over150K. with a ferrari one tire change is like over$1000. forget 50K.
