Prince T24

Not sure how you can improve on the T22s unless the T24s are a lot lighter.

Amen to that. I decided to give the T22 a try and have been really impressed. If you play hard courts and your knees hurt, ditch the Adidas Barricades and K-Swiss Big Shots...the Prince T22 has cushioning galore! My knees don't hurt at all and the T22's are fantastic. I do miss the K-Swiss laces though that lock when you tie them :).

I checked out the T24 in a store. They felt identical to the T22, which I've been using since they came out and haven't thought about replacing. So I bought two more pairs of T22s instead.

t22 user...got some t24's today.

the feel similar, but a little higher ride off the ground. They feel slightly larger to me than the T22's, so try before you buy. I just wear thicker socks and they are fine. The also feel roomier in the toe box.

i waited so long to get the 22s they're now outdated lol. btw 24s sounds like an awful name in comparison. i think this has to do more with the connotation to 24hrs

First time t22 owner and I have to say that I am very impressed. Durability actually seems to be better than the Adidas Barricades.

So far my only small complaint is they seem to lack enough cushioning in the forefoot.

Overall I like them a lot and am definitely interested in the t24 if they are anything like the the t22.

the T24's definitely have more cushioning in the forefoot than the 22's.

That's nice to hear they have more forefoot cushioning but I can only imagine how much more plush they would feel since the T22s are very comfortable.

How about lateral stability between the T22s and T24s? The specs mentioned they are a bit heavier than the T22s.

For me, the T22s are almost perfect if they were just a tad lighter but then that might compromise the plush cushioning of the shoe which I would rather have.

Still no reviews from anyone who has used the T24. Maybe it's not very popular?

I tried on both the T22 and T24 at the store today. I have narrow feet, I currently wear the T10, and it's my favorite overall shoe. The T22 feels like an updated T10. The fit isn't much different, and the T22 feels a little bit softer. I can see myself getting the T22 in the future. I didn't like the T24. It felt too big and clunky, and I felt awkward walking in them, as if they didn't bend in the right place. I don't see much similarity between the T22 and T24 besides appearance.

I have both the 22s and the 24s. The 24 seem to be a little roomier in the forbid and feel more cushioned in the foretold than the 22s...not lot more, but its noticeable. My only issue is that the 24s feel slightly larger than the 22s in the same size, so I need to either go down half a size or wear 2 socks.

Does anyone else think Prince is going in the wrong direction with the T24? Seems to me they went bigger and clunkier. Maybe I'll try the Rebel LS. That might be the better way to go; lighter and lower to the ground.

I agree. I ended up returning my 24s for the 22s. The 22s fit me fine, but I was shifting around too much with the 24s.

Wow the T22s are already pretty roomy (big enough without being too big, but close) I guess I dont wanna know how big the T24s are.

T14's verses T22's Verses T24's

I am a long time user of Prince Shoes, started with the NFS viper II, switched to T10’s, then T22’s. Since the T22 shoes work so well, I was concerned about the T24’s which are the next generation of T22’s. I purchased a pair of T24 and T14 to compare with my existing T22's.

The T24 were well made and looked impressive, but were too fat in the forefoot for me, with too much cushioning and did not have the solid feel. I walked around the house in them, but just did not feel as nice as the T22’s. My foot was moving around inside the shoe and felt elevated in the front.

I was impressed with the T14’s. They were close to the T22’s (same bottom), and a little less gripping on my foot. The last couple of pairs of T22’s have been hurting my little toe joint. The extra strap at the bottom seems to hit right on the toe. The T14 did not have the 4footwrap, which I think was causing my toe issue. I may stick with these shoes but will test them over the next month and report back. They are a little cheaper, and not made as well as the T22’s, but are more comfortable. Also the T14’s do not come with a 6 month wear warranty, but I usually change shoes every 2 months due to the insides wearing out before the outside. I play at least 4 times a week on hard courts.

Sent the T24’s back, and hope Prince keeps the T22’s in production, but at least I have a fall back with the T14’s.

After 7 hours of play, I think the T14's are working better for me than the T22's. 2 matches on clay and 1 on hard court, really liking the shoes. No little toe issues either. They are wider in the toe box than the T22's and fit my feet perfectly.

3-28-2012 Shoes are holding up well, wider toe box is great. For me better than the T22's and T24's. About 12 matches so far on clay and hard court, plenty of support and seem to be wearing nicely.

From what I've been told, Prince will not discontinue the best selling shoe, the T22. They have lowered the price point.

I hope that's true. I didn't think anyone was complaining about the T22 not being roomy enough. For guys like me with narrow feet, the T24 takes me out of consideration entirely.

I hear you. I would have said "it wouldn't make sense for Prince to discontinue the best selling shoe in the land" but living in the corporate world, I see decisions made all the time that don't make sense.

Just bought my first pair of T22s on Friday from my local shop. Tried on a lot of other shoes including the T24 and nothing felt as good right out of the box as rhe T22 did. Only other shoe I liked was the Propulse 3 which I ordered from TW since my shop didnt have my size in stock. I played my first match yesterday in the T22s and they did great. Very comfortable and I feel that I was moving great in them.
