He said hitting just over the net would trouble the opponent till the Futures level, after which it will not work.

tips from Tip!

Hallo, I just watch a Tispsarevic video in wich he gives
advices to young pros and juniors. This is episode 3
and one advice he gives to an ex #1 junior is to hit higher.
On another episode another advice he gave to another
kid was using more the body ( this guys are really good,
already on the tour ).
I like the way he explains things, He´d be a good coach.

Yes, he said it well, as several of us have discussed many times on here.
Great to hear it from a top performer like this.
Low over the net, hard and flat is the easiest ball for a player with skill,
assuming he can get to it.

I genuinely like Janko a lot after seeing these videos. You really get the sense that hes an amazing guy to be around, and that hes truthfully giving these youngsters the best possible advice.

^^^ Agreed. Well, you know who I'm going to be rooting for next time I watch a match with Tipsy in it!

Tipsy is awesome and inspiring in these videos. I can't wait for the rest of them. For him (and Ferrer) to reach Top 10 in the world with their limited physical gifts, they have to be truly exceptional in other areas such as stamina, mental strength, strategy, etc. I just wish he would do something like this for people like me, "Generation Past."

^^^ I was gonna say! Both of those guys are tremendous athletes, they are just not as tall as most of their contemporaries (although Tipsy is 5'11", so not exactly little!)

Cheers

I think it was something he had to do as part of his sponsorship obligations.

He is not such a nice guy as his pseudo-intellectual looks and statements might lead you to believe. He said recently that a junior boy can crush Serena. Of course, it may be the "truth" but the need to point it out arises out of jealousy of women doing well financially and shows his disgruntled attitude about his own life as a side show to the top men. Such inferior men usually lash out unprovoked at women due to their insecurities.

OR...he feels like more work for less pay is unfair.

As I have explained many times, equal pay for equal work applies only to people under the same management organization doing same or similar work. It does not even apply across two organizations or to individuals with contracts, or even in the same organization with sligthly different duties. I have been a corporate manager for many years now and am very familiar with the laws. Men's and women's tennis are played against different sets of people who have a contract with different organizations which can do whatever they want.

Moreover, the intent is the real issue. You bet idiots like Tipsy were never worried about working conditions of the poor or equal rights or did anything for these issues till they felt angry that women were making good money.

Inferior men? He's broken into the top ten and made over $5 million in prize money, plus his endorsements. Is it fair to describe him as "disgruntled"?

I've never read your previous posts. Tipsy is not an idiot, he recognizes the dollars generated by the men's game are far more than the women's game and is only trying to increase his "fair share".

That is up to him to decide. I have read about a man suing his brother because he claimed that his brother manipulated the father's inheritance by taking 27 billion, leaving him only with 19 billion.

In any case, the only thing that matters is his intent, which was an unprovoked personal attack by name, followed by pretentious claims about equality.

He has no fair share claim to another tour. He needs to compete with the men. The money in each pool is mainly determined by sponsors, and he has no right to dictate it, just like men who play less time than others or than the women, or retire with injuries, don't get less money because the match was shorter.

IMO, their height is more of an advantage than a disadvantage for their ground games. Where it is more of a disadvantage is on serve, which is why I'm perpexed that neither of them have particularly good service technique. You would think that they would focus more on perfecting their service technique given their height disadvantage.

Given the nature of your posts, this reads like a mini autobiography, Sureshs.

I think it stems more from silly comments about how Serena could be playing on the
men's tour.

Serena has as much chance of beating the top juniors in these videos as I (a so-so 4.5) have in winning an Open tournament.

So you agree with my point?

If your point is that Serena cannot compete on men's tour, then I agree 10,000%. She has as much chance of being successful on ATP tour as I have of outrunning Usain Bolt in 100m.

Clearly she cannot compete with the men and that is why I called the comments silly.
